Observation: from 4:30 to 4:43, I could see some fractus cloud in the sky on Galaxy A54 but S23 couldn't get the clouds.

In this regard, A54 is the winner. Given the fact that what makes a picture ideal, is the true representation of real life. S23 makes me think there is stratus cloud in the sky, in other words, it could be raining, whereas A54 shows that the weather is fair enough.

To really test camera quality, you got to do it yourself. I've taken pictures of small objects, then looked at them on my computer monitor and compare it to the actual object. I've done that with the A54 in several modes. In taking a picture of one of those individual serving coffee creamers (it was blue) in macro mode, the color was right on exact to the actual object and very sharp. I took some pictures around my office and things were also very accurate. A can of Raid looked a little more bright red, but it was probably from the flash. I took a couple pictures of a bright orange golf ball. The actual golf ball looked more bright than the picture, but that had more to do with my computer monitor not able to display such bright colors 100% accurate. The color on the phone's screen looked closer. Outside is fairly accurate too, but you'll never get 100% on any camera. In all, if you want the best cellphone cameras, it's those $1,000 flagship phones. For phones less than half that amount (like the A54) it will get you 98.6% there. That's good enough for me.

@@henrykatsande5662 They have the same performace. Just look up benchmarks online. And then compare them to flaship processors to get a perspective. Usually mediatek are the crappiest. Exynos only has a bad rep because it's compared with the Snapdragon flagship ones. Also the A54 just got the "Budget phone of the year" award from MkBHD. It also has an dinamic screen that adjusts from 120hz to 60hz for even better battery. Also the 50MP flagship camera sensor, even though the processor can't deliver the same results as the S series.

The Exynos 1380 is not actually mediocre - it equals performance of SD778G which you get in Nothing Pohne 1 and various Poco, so it's actually quite powerful

Look up the battery tests. S23 is much more efficient and lasts just as long The smaller capacity is because of the smaller size, you can only fit that much without sacrificing features

Battery size doesn't mean anything. The iPhone 14 has a 3280mah battery and I'm willing go wager it'll outlast the bigger battery on the s23.

The S23 is 6.1 inches, the A54 6.4 inches. A54 is much bigger. Also a flagship processor will drain the battery a lot quicker if you do use the 4k60fps and other high end features.

They dont have the same main sensors. A54 uses Sony IMX766 sensor, S23 uses Samsung S5KGN3 🙂
