This is really late, however, if you had an iPhone 11 getting an A71 would be a serious downgrade. I would recommend going for the standard S20 o even a S10+, but again that's just my two cents.

MLP Shawn Well the processor is more efficient but has a better GPU. The a71 is plastic back and front, and made with gorilla glass 3 instead of 5. The a71 also has only 60hz refresh rate. Despite this however, i think it is a great deal.

@@ShawnFX If you can get the S20+ go ahead and buy it. It's one of the best, if not, the best smartphone ever currently out there. The S20+ is a flagship whereas the A71 is a midrange phone. They aren't in the same category, the S20+ is a better phone overall, hence the price. But you absolutely have to make sure you get the S20+ with the Snapdragon 855 processor, not the one with the Exynos chip, if you choose to get the S20+ that is. The snapdragon chip variant is far better and the difference between the two is vast.

Great video. I learned about this phone a few months ago. I was all set to purchase it when it was originally set to launch in the US early January. I ended up purchasing a Realmex2 instead because the launch date kept getting pushed back. Looks like a decent budget phone, I wouldn't pay more then $350.00 for it though.

Lynn Dais it depends on budget. There’s the s10e which is $200 more expensive but has much better features and there’s also the a51 which has worse specs but is around $100 cheaper. I personally am switching from the iPhone 8 to the a71 but if my budget was higher I probably would have gone for the s10 or pixel 4 if your willing to switch to a google phone.

The galaxy a71 has great batterylife. The camera is not the best, but its not the worst either. What it does have is a great proccessor: qualccomm snapdragon 730, which is one of the best out there

I don't like the fingerprint sensor and the auto dim features. Also if its in power saving mode the fingerprint sensor does not work and you have to enter your password, if you are in the sun it is extremely hard to see the screen clearly!
