Galaxy Book 4 Ultra Review ~ Sexy, but Expensive...

Hi Rich. Thanks for the review. Samsung Galaxy Book series has really improved in the fourth generation based on my experience. The Samsung Galaxy Book4 Pro Ultra is the perfect example. I prefer the Samsung Galaxy Book4 Pro 360. I am absolutely a fan of the 2 in 1 design and touch/pen capabilities. These are the features that I would want to see in the Galaxy Book4 Ultra, though I understand the product positioning is for users looking for higher performance. I would agree that there is an adjustment required when a Samsung user first begins typing with its repositioned keyboard and touch pad. But the adjustment period was very short for me, say within 20 minutes or so. And in my case, the number keypad is absolutely excellent, and I would not buy another laptop without this keyboard configuration. Again thanks for the review.

The number pad on the right hand side is actually super useful to me as a professional video editor, haha. Gotta love them extra keyboard shortcuts, especially that Home and End buttons :D

Play review tekken 8 on the book 4 ultra. Nobody, no content creator, has really done a gaming review for this laptop and a game like tekken is very frame dependent compared to any other game because if the frames are bad then you can drop a combo loss a match etc. This fact is flying over the heads of every content creator, so I think that you should be the first to test it out and let your viewers know. No regrets at all. An absolute beast of a machine. Battery 7+ hours..runs cool so thermals are great.. paired with galaxy z fold 5 and tab s9 ultra and galaxy buds 3 pro.. ecosystem is flawless. Plus the screen is Phenomenal. I didnot get the edge because the snapdragon processors are yet to be refined and optimised.

The only downside is wifi 6E. It'd have been great if they added wifi 7 to future proof

I want to buy this laptop and the ecosystem is a big plus but I was hesitating between samsung and dell xps 16 (which is 500€ more), can you play games on high performance mode?

Im not much of a gamer. I have ps5. And yes i considered xps 16 as well. But xps 16 doesn't have touch screen which is a huge downside considering it is such a useful feature. Also xps 16 has touch top bar of keyboard which takes a while to get used to and not really useful

Davinchi resolve free don't use NVIDIA encoders so always use studio version for faster and smoother editing.

Should I get a the galaxy book 4 ultra or the 4 pro 360 Im stuck , and I haven't seen many vids doing gaming test on the pro 360 so Im not sure if it's good for gaming .

Galaxy book 4 ultra is not a gaming computer, but you can play with it. Frames are bad 45 is low to play fps

Very few options other than Lenovo or Dell? Not really. How about the amazing ASUS Zephyrus 16, the HP Spectre 16, the incredible Lenovo Pro 9?? Without a doubt, this Samsung 16 inch laptop is the weakest of a new and large offering of Windows laptops in 2024. There has never been a better choice than what we have in 2024.
