For anyone who this video may not work for. You have to plug your phone into a computer using the usb-c charger, then proceed to follow the steps in the video. After a recent(?) Update you can no longer access recovery mode without being plugged into a computer.

Doesn't work for me The Samsung Logo appears and just restarts the phone. Very frustrating. My screen tells me I'm in "flight mode"... does this matter for this reboot process?

You should make sure to remove your finger from the volume down button immediately the phone turns off and put it on the volume up. The finger on the power button should remain pressed while the other finger changes position from volume down to volume up. Lift both fingers as soon as you see the Samsung logo.

Being in flight mood should not matter. But you have to be precise in lifting fingers otherwise the phone will restart straight away. I did it a few times before I got it right. That is why I stated it in the video. Let me know how you go

@@15yannie the name Samsung will appear first before the logo. By the time the Android logo appears you would have released all buttons. Some people told they had to try about 5-6 times before they got it right

asking help here sir.. i am very terrified right now since my note20 ultra went blackscreen as i woke up this morning around 8am, i thought it was just drained so i charged it, and still no response as i plugged the charger (actually i really dont drain my phone, it was 31% last time i saw on my always on display) then i started watching on youtube, i tried pressing the volume down and the power to hard restart the phone but it just vibrate. been doing this for hours now, im really despirate to make my phone work since my files for work are there. i hope you could help me sir.. 😭

Sorry for the late reply. I was on holidays with little access to internet. Let us start with your files. Did you check your back to access your files? With regards to the black screen, follow the procedure in the video to restart the phone. It will be hard to know if you have done it right when the screen is off. You have to pay attention to the vibration of the phone when it turns on and off.
