Hey Jonathan. Great video. But one of the tips was incorrect. One of the first tips you give is about the two times zoom feature. You saw the 2x icon pop up and you assumed that meant it was focusing differently. You have to press the '2x" icon that appears when you are trying to take a picture of something close to the camera. It automatically zooms x 2 after you press it, and then it you can move closer until the phone screen tells you to move back, and that is the perfect distance for the pic! Check it out...its one of THE BEST tricks for this camera.

Thank you for the video, Jonathon. I have had my Note 20 Ultra for about 2 months now and I'm totally blown away with it. It is an amazing piece of tech. It wipes the floor with my wife's iPhone 12 and any other phone I've seen (with the exception of the Galaxy S21 Ultra). I have also bought into the Samsung ecosystem with Galaxy Ear Buds Pro, Galaxy Watch 3 and a Tab S6 Lite (that is admittedly the weak link in the chain). I'm now seriously considering the new Samsung Galaxy Pro 360 laptop.

Hi Jonathan, quick question to which I haven't found an answer on Reddit yet. Are there any lenses you use on your note 20 ultra (ex. Anamorphic, macro or telephoto) that cause focus problems due to the Lazer autofocus sensor being blocked by these large lenses. If not then how do you get a crisp photo or video when the main component allowing focus is blocked off. Thanks in advance for your input 👌

how about photo camera flood mode? (or something like that) i found it once by mistake it adds blur on all 4 sides of the image..making it clear and focus on the middle area.. i don't know how to find it again :(

Excellent video. Does help because there are so many options to decide before you can click. I was very disappointed as I was not able to replicate the excellent point and clicks from my earlier pixel 3 but now I feel more confident. A pro mode video would be welcome, would also love if you could get a bit more into aspect ratios and the different resolutions, I notices at higher resolutions focus tracking gets turned off, what else do we lose?

This is coming late to the party. Hope some are reading this to see if we can figure it out. Note 20 Ultra has 0.5X, 1X, and 5X lens. I use my 1 X and then did a digital zoom (presumably) at 4.7. When I blew up the photo, it has as much detail as the 5X but has slightly WIDER coverage. I compared with 1X at 1X using both 12mp and 108mp setting. The 4.7X has MUCH more detail - comparable to the 5X. This tells me that the 4.7X actually is using the 5X lens but can go wider. IF this makes sense, anyone know how wide the 5X lens can get? Or am I misunderstanding something? Thanks.

Unfortunately, there isn’t. The best thing I can tell you is to have some one dial in the settings for you and make sure your frames well or if no one can help you, use a mirror.

When I use back camera everything go ok but when I switch it to front camera for selfie or even close the camera , some kind of noises can be heared while shaking phone.It seems that one of lenses isn't in a stable position and move forward and backward by shaking phone. can you hell with with this?
