all has their pros and cons to the extent i dont see any as a clear winner. the note 20 ultra saturates the sky alittle too much, but it brings out details in the shadow and some focus issues. the note 9 is quite dark overall but better consistent colors, the note 10 occasionally does great and other times worse. i agree a better bank for your buck would be the note 9. so as a person coming from s6 i would get an s9 plus since i dont use the stylus.

Regardless of features, or wide angle camera, I gotta say as a current N10+ owner who previously owned the Note 9, the Note 9 camera was way better. It produced beautiful images IMO, especially outdoors. The camera on the N10+ is just kinda meh. Not bad but not great IMO. Havent tried the N20 Ultra.

Thank you for your feedback. I'm currently cross shopping both devices coming from an LG V40 and wanted to hear from someone who has experienced both Note 9 and now Note 10+ cameras firsthand. Going to make a decision soon!

Great video E! But the Galaxy note 9 and Galaxy note 10 plus have plenty of camera updates. So when the ultra gets it's updates. It's going to be better. Keep up the good work.

Great video Eric. Note9 still holds up surprisingly well. Unless you care about the snappiest of the snappiest in regards to processors I would definitely recommend the Note9 if you are low on funds. I did notice a slight audio quality drop with the Note9 but not a deal breaker. We are still in a worldwide pandemic after all can't everyone afford a $1300 phone *cough SAMSUNG cough* lol

Definitely n w/o a doubt! Note 9 is the clear winner. I just got the note 9 b4 Note 20 was launched like 3 months back. Thankfully I am glad I made the best decision as m not losing out much. With Led notifications somethin I cant live without, Id say Note 10 n Note 20 r downgrades. Note 9 was n still is the last true note.

I still haven't found anything that inspires me to upgrade my Note 9 .. last quarter of 2021 too, just nothing has caught my eye! The next gen notes all seem cheaply made, and now I hear they've just axed them altogether. *siiiigh* .. perhaps something will surface soon 😕

Just got the N20U I still got the N9 and the camera on N9 looks better the edge of everything looks sharper but the N20U is good at balancing dark shadows with light...The screen on N9 is much better better graphics hands down why bc it has a bigger ppi than the N20U..brightness is more on the new note

Thank you so much for doing this camera comparison! I am so glad I kept my Note 9! I bought the Note 20 Ultra but returned it. The Note 9 was more consistent with colors. Note 10 + sharper, brighter images. Note 20 Ultra over saturation of colors. You took some great shots with all 3 cameras though. Most of the pics I took on Note 20 Ultra were blurry or appeared softened. Camera seems to struggle with macro and action. Hopefully updates will fix all that. Great video!

I think phone cameras have reached a saturation point since last 2 years. People won't find much difference if they aren't presented side by side. Samsung should have really worked more on battery department this year since we need more juice these days!

Great job E! I have a Note 9 I'm about to send to Samsung for their trade in deal to offset the crazy cost of the Note 20 Ultra they sent me. I'll tell you what, the Galaxy Buds Live promo they had made it too compelling to pass up. Those are the best Bluetooth earpieces/headphones I've ever owned, btw. Appreciate this comparison!

The note 9 was awesome. Headphone jack and iris scanner (miss that now that face unlock fails due to masks). If it had a ultra wide camera and continued software support, the note 10+ and note 20 ultra purchases would be questioned more.

I like how other webs shiw the best camera quality on phone and always give note 20 ultra and note 10 plus but always forgets about note 9 which looks literally almost the same as note 20 ultra and note 10 plus.

I'm soooooo glad I bought the Note 9. Your comparison video is fantastic. Thank you for taking the time to do all of these shots and all the editing. I've been using a Note 8 for the past 3 years and still love it. Won't lie on that. Since 3G is getting shut off soon (I think 2 of 4 carriers have shut theirs down)(out with the old and in with the new), I need to upgrade since my Note 8 isn't 4G. Really didn't want to. The Note 9 I think is the winner. I am a bit behind on getting technology and I'm ok with that. I don't want to pay that much for a phone when it's released. I bought my Note 8 a few months before the 9 was released. I kinda regretted it, but then was like aah, whatever, carry on. And I did. I still love this Note 8. I've read this Note 8 is a 4G, but guess it's not or my model is not. Nothing about 4G or the new HD voice capabilities that is required. I've been debating between the 9, the 10+ and splurging on the new 20 Ultra. I did find a awesome Note 9, but kept wondering did I make the right choice. Your video showed me I did. The 10+ seemed to be overexposing the pictures compared to the 9. I've heard in other videos to step down a stop or two on the 10+. I did see a couple of better pictures on the 10+, but the 9 isn't much different. Sometimes, the 20 was horrible compared to the 9 and 10+. I seriously love the sound quality front and back on the Note 9. When you switched to the 10+ I was shocked. It sounds like a downgrade. The sound on the 20 Ultra I would say is average or good. I think I did great by getting the 9. I rarely use corded headphones, but I do on occasion so that wouldn't be a deal breaker on the 10+ or 20. I do use my bluetooth headset majority of the time.

Note 9 was my favorite note device 🤗 but now it's the Note 10 Plus 5G🤗❤️ had the Note 20 Ultra 5G but just missed how the Note 10+ 5G had more bad storage and how light it is compared to the Note 20 Ultra it wasn't really a big enough upgrade to me 🤷🏾‍♀️

I'm returning the note 20 ultra back. keeping my note 9. the 20 ultras camera I'd not that great and has focus issues. try them both scanning a some a paper with texts and you will notice note 9 is much better
