Galaxy note 4 turning on and off

Galaxy note 4 discharges fast shuts off at 18% battery and try to turn it on and it repeatable reboots and won't turn on unless plugged into charger.

Saw a solution for this issue. Turn off Note 4, take out battery, press powerbutton for 1 minute, put battery in and turn it on. I had the same problem and it helped. If the battery is about 2 years and the previous mentioned solution helps then i suggest to change the battery.

18% battery? You're lucky. Mine shuts down at 75% EDIT: I ordered a new battery (Yes, a genuine, authentic Samsung battery) Did not fix my issue.

Bryte Eyez you have to buy a different battery not a Samsung one if you live near or know where a batteries plus is at go there I had the same problem works like a pro now

My phone has a similar problem after it slipped from my hands from the Tea Poy, it just keeps rebooting even after I connect it with the charger. What's next ? Obviously, will need to see a technician to fix it. It's a very good phone. Hopefully the guys in Mumbai will get it done 😢

Same problem. Ididnt use my note 4 for long time. When i decided to use it i saw my battery was swel up and i chanced it with new one. It was working properly but when i came home i charged it. Then this problem started when i unplugged it. May be the charger which i use first was broken i dont know but now i cant open it without charging. I have note 4 and have same problem

I’ve had mine since new. After a 2 1/2 years it was acting strangely and the battery didn’t stay charged for long. Bought a new battery, which appeared to be a genuine Samsung and brand new. After a month or so it started behaving like yours, but not always. I have not found an answer

Your problem is obviously the battery. I've replaced at least 4 batteries for my Galaxy note 4. They read differently, especially when you have 2 different phones that charge these batteries. It's a matter of time period

This is Samsung issue what an earth Samsung let this happen to their product .I myself lost all everything on my phone .very disappointing went to Samsung support they said change mother board just like buying a new phone .I have to find and get a new phone hauwei. I am very please it's more better and don't give me head ache I been trying to fix my Samsung .all people I know using samsung have the same problem never to use Samsung again .never expect Samsung turn down Samsung users.

well i try the power off button and vol up button at the same time to restart or erase the cache, but time is too short. So I only have small time to make it done. It restarts after 5 sec after i opened the boot loader. Doesnt help at all

That's what happened to my Moto G7, I thought the battery won't/didn't hold as much juice as it used to EVEN with the charging cord plugged in (the cord alone was not enough to completely boot it up). Ordered a bigger battery (with 1280maH higher capacity than the original's 3000mAH). Now, boots up completely and lasts more than 24hrs on STBY as if it was new!
