Do you use the Spen on a regular basis? If not, then s10+. My work involves me opening up chrome, during travel (im a home health physical therapist) so i need to open up our website all the time, click really small drop down menus to search for patients using the SPen, then after treatment i need to get their signature and if my tablet isnt working my phone and its SPen is a huge help. But if you dont need all that then S10 is better plus future software support, better camera with wide angle, wireless charge your galaxy buds, and a in screen fingerprint sensor (which for me is a slower and a downgrade than the capacitive).

I went to purchase a new phone in March. I came from owning a Note 4 (which I loved). What was funny was I qualified for more than $200 off the S10 but no discount on the Note 9 even though I wanted that more. I went with the S10. I do miss the S pen for S Note which I would keep as a widget on my home screen and just write notes everyday. Beyond that I find now I can live without the S pen other than that one feature.

@@JanWyFoo, truth is it is harder than it seems but once you do not have it (depending on how you used it), it is not bad. I take notes by typing now rather than the quick writing but for me that is the biggest thing. I did have a time I needed it a lot for signing digital documents (which now you can use those sponge tip pens that work on all phones) but at the moment I do not have that need.

I've been with the Note 9 for a few months now and it still feels new. Left the iPhone and I love the limitless settings of android. I agree with everything you describe about the Note 9 with the exception of it being not as attractive as the S10. It is a beast and large but not clunky. I cant speak on the S10 but I can't imagine it having much more than the Note 9. Good video though. Much better than I can put together. Keep doing work.

I think Samsung's decision to remove the iris scanner is a major downgrade for their devices. It's just fast, more secure, and works fine in the dark. Plus the iris scanner as a get go for samsung pass and pay instead of using the fingerprints is a major advantage too, it's an advance biometrics technology which made the note 9 a very underrated device. I'm picking the note 9 if I would have one since I won't trade design over security. On screen fingerprint is nice to have but it is not refined and secured like the traditional one since it is first gen, and speaking of traditional you have it as an option in the back of the note 9. The weight of the S10 is very light for my opinion and it feels cheap to handle a device that light maybe because of gorilla glass 6 and bezel less display, and it is an advantage maybe for drops. Functionality they are both excellent Spen or no Spen, SD 845/ SD 855, bezel or no bezels it is just a matter of preference and lifestyle hence they are still exepensive flagship devices.

@@nickanthony90 with my s pen I like to be able to copy and paste, sign documents, take pictures with my s pen, because it has the Bluetooth capabilities, write notes, screen write, control my media, smart select, being able to translate different languages with the s pen, coloring, also using it as a mouse to navigate my phone. To some people that's not important. To some people these things doesn't matter. But for me I need and want all of these things as far as the the spen is concerned.

If you own an S9 or Note 9 then there's really no need to upgrade. I had an S8 and now the S10, loved my S8 but the battery life was never great and there are minor stutters here and there. $300 trade in and free galaxy buds was too good to pass on so I went for it. The S10 really solved the problems for me.

I'm happy with my 512GB blue note 9. The top and bottom bezzels don't bother me at all. This phone is probably the best phone I've ever owned and Ive had at least 11 phones over the last nine years including a iPhone x. Anyone deciding between the two really should check them out in store and play around with them before making the decision. KZbin videos only go so far. Hands on experience is the best way to go.

@@sgill4833 the Mate 20X M-Pen don't have half the features found on the Note S-PEN, there is no silo to keep it safe without worrying about forgetting or losing it, the M-Pen needs to be charged, no Bluetooth remote, a little lag while drawing, also you have to buy M-Pen specific to the Mate 20X, it won't work on other Huawei devices, the S-Pen can still work with any of the Note devices, with the Tab S tablets, and even with Samsung PCs and Chromebooks.

I'm not even remotely interested in the S10 line. Having my 8gb/512gb NOTE 9 in midnight black. It's a no go. I prefer the sharper screen corners on the note 9 and circle camera lens cutouts. The NOTE 9 believe it or not is the more limited and rare phone on Samsung's lineup. And the S9+ since the camera cluster is vertical.

I upgraded last week from my 18 month old S8 to a S10. To be honest, I don't think it was worth it. Actually I would just rather change the battery. The S8 was so ahead of it´s time, back in 2017 when I got it, my previous phone was a LG G5, but I also owned an Xperia XZ and a G6, and even if the Sony and the the G6 were nice phones, the S8 was way more advanced in everything.

One thing I haven't seen mentioned is the big fingers situation. I have rather large hands and find myself back tracking on messaging etc.. i use the s-pen a lot. Not just typing but for many things. I agree that the S-10+ is slightly faster with the 55 vs 45 but soon enough the community will be hyped up over the Note 10 pro (Aug 7th). I myself am team note. Yes for me it is about the S Pen. I basically use it for taking notes, signing documents, annotating documents and basically what a pen should be used for. I like the fact that when I am away from office they can scan send me documents to read, comment on and sign. Amazing tool for me!

I just believe note devices are a superior all around option. I don't use my s-pen either put its good to have as an option. This is a great phone though. Just got the S10+ 2 days ago for Father's Day present & even though I really wanted the note 9 because of the Spen it comes in handy for a business owner who takes credit cards as payment via phone so having the Spen is handy when customers need to sign for transactions. However so far I'm loving the S10+ I'm still in shock that my daughter spent almost $1000 bucks to give me this phone for Father's Day. I'll tell you what from the stylo 4 to the S10+ is a huge upgrade & it still hasn't hit me yet but I'm sure it will.

I'm always using the Note series, because it always packed with all top techs that Samsung has, and it has an SPen (I use it quite often). But choosing between the Note 9 and the S10+ is a very tough choice. I am very attracted to the ultra wide angle camera on the S10+. It takes awesome photos, especially during travelling, I need the ultra wide angle camera. So... ... I'll wait for the Note 10.

For a few months, I've been deciding between an S10+ or Note 9. My friend lent me her spare S10 to tryout for a week... and I ended up giving it back after a few days. The in-screen fingerprint sensor refused to cooperate with me, and I just couldn't decide if I liked or disliked the pinhole camera. Shortly after, I bought a Note 9. And BOY I immediately loved it. Granted, I dont need the s-pen, but it's fun to have around. And it's the little things which the Note 9 boasts that still make it a killer option in 2019. Amazing screen, fast unlock options, waterproofing, wireless charging, an earphone jack... you dont NEED all the features this boi packs. But DAMN does it feel good.

Sitting here with my almost 6 year old note 3. Beauftiful little thing still chugs on using android kitkat. At the beginning of the year i got a new screen protector and case and feels brand new! Only problem is that the camera is a bit old and there's no image stabilisation so images can be blurry. Ps. It's not as laggy as you think on a sd 801, only more recent mobile gaming titles will give it serious frame drops. Pps. Dropped this in the bath a fortnight ago and the screen started to get invis touches/ wouldnt register in some spots. Opened up the phone to let it air out and a day later it was working perfectly!

Before I got my Note 9 I had no idea what a game-changer the S Pen would be. I was definitely intrigued by it and knew I'd enjoy it, but I couldn't fathom just how true that would end up being. Going forward, I don't want another phone without it.

Typing this comment on my 9 month old note 9 but it still feels damn new just out of the store!! Am extremely enjoying every bit of it and yes am now deeply in habit of typing with my s pen. It's so so fast and convenient than fingers and it has reduced the "typing errors" by 100% since then cause of it's super point fine nib tip. I can't upgrade to any other phones other than the note series itself. I guess for any note line users it's the same.

Problem with the S-10 + is the insane depreciation. I recently returned my S-10+ 5G, not because it wasn’t an amazing phone. I returned it to Verizon as my $1300 phone had a trade-in value of $525 after one week!

I loved the Note 9 for six months, but I "Samsung Trade-Up'd" to the S10+ and have not regretted it for one moment. My Note 9 made it through a full day once or twice. My S10+ lasts 36 hours, easily, day after day.

Had my Note 3 died on me 2 months back and yeah time for an upgrade. so at the Samsung shop, I was holding the s10+ was superb on the hand, beautifully designed, it was so snappy compared to my note3 but then something was lacking. the s-pen, I just couldn't live without it as that makes the Note series special. The salesman was pushing me to buy the S10+ but then sorry bro the Note 9 is a far better buy for me.

I was IN love with my note 4 until battery issues on 2015, so rip Samsung but a few weeks ago through a friends discount i got the gs10+ and wow really surprised and i want to get the most of it ,a great phone am using now love the battery life no more charger carrying with me on my 8 hr shift

Nice video. But tbh regarding 2:40 I do think the difference in bezels is one of those things a normal consumer would notice. The s10+ just looks more modern. And if you're shopping in that price category you're looking for the most premium device
