Yep, edge panels are so underated. I keep my social media apps, notes, and files in the edge panels cause most people aren't into samsung and they literally won't find those apps since I also hide them from my home and made the edge slide bar invisible lol, it's like a privacy tool as well. I also found that If you use the "pin the screen" shortcut from the edge panels on a snapchat or instagram story/messages it won't show that you screenshotted since it's just a screen grab and then you can exit the app and screenshot from there.

Setting up your Edge Panel at the lowest position is really handy. With a slight swipe you can open up lots of Shortcuts. Real help on efficiency and productivity. If you find Smart Lock useful, spend your time and explore the amazing Bixby Routine. There's so much Automation you can do and you're gonna find it really amazing and useful. I have multiple settings for Home, Works, Driving, Night, etc etc. Its seriously great.

I don't care about it being Samsung. My last 3 phones were Google: Nexus 6p, Pixel 2, Pixel 3 XL. The clean Android interface is nice.

1. Type chrome://flags in chrome browser. 2. Search “home” inside the flag search bar. 3. You will see google duet as the first result, select that snd enable the home >search>new tab option. This will enable you to access searchbar and couple of other buttons from the bottom of the screen. Much more comfortable for single hand use

If you bought music from iTunes, sure you'll can just transfer it. If you're talking caching your musical from Apple Music locally for offline listening you can do that, but you can't transfer that out of the Apple Music app.

Depending on what you were trying to do. You can download the Apple Music app to the sd card. Just make sure you download the music to the phone to transfer it to the sd for offline listening.

I'm confused. You set the power option to optimised. Which locks the phone settings for certain things. Namely the screen resolution can't be changed down from wqhd and the speed can't be put upto 120hz as a result. So how did you put the power in optimise mode and the refresh speed to 120hz? Also u can become a developer on your phone and change animation speed to 0.5 for all aspects. Which gives u the feel of 120hz while leaving the phone in optimsed mode.x

Do you know how to switch off the side swipe gestures? Not the notification bar one if you swipe from the side a black bubble shows with white arrow and you and hold it and it'll go diagonal if have a diagonal gesture etc but I can't find it anywhere in settings to switch it off!

@4:18 all optimized mode did was lower the screen resolution compared to high performance. It didn't turn anything else off. It says "off" under "limit CPU speed to 70%" which means it didn't limit the CPU at all. But a year later that option doesn't even exist on the phone anymore so I guess it doesn't matter.

Lot of helpful information here, however I do wanna say that you shouldn't push your opinion on certain things onto others by saying "I don't really use them, I don't think anyone should". I use edge panels and for those who can figure out a configuration that works for them too I suggest using it as it can be helpful.

If you want high performance you have to decide...120hz with Fhd+ or 60hz with Wqhd because you can't get both 120hz with Wqhd resolution however it would be the best

See your lower half of the.screen do you have the swipe from edge actuvated on yours? White arrows swipe the lower sides of screen to go back etc there like black bubbles come from the screen with arrows! Can you please tell me how I can switch this off please!? It's not the swipe gestures I've got buttons in notification bar I hate swipe gestures and these are so annoying I can't switch them off!

Excellent tips, hope many will apply to the S10 as well. Question, why do KZbin bloggers when they are talking think it necessary having background music? The background music quickly becomes noise, annoying noise, distracting noise. Remember, we came to hear you not music. Many folks have hearing difficulties thus the background music is extremely off-putting, making it difficult concentrating on the spoken words.
