I just got an s21 plus a few weeks ago and it's a great phone you can get a good deal on. If it gets 4 years of OS updates, that means it'll get android 14 and 15 too with the year after that being the last year of security updates. The battery life could be better at 5 and a half hours of screen time, but overall it's still a phone that's worth considering. You keep saying it's the last year of support when it should still have OS updates until 2024 and android 15 and security updates until 2025. Sounds like you just wanted to use the support as a reason to upgrade. Understandable but your information is incorrect here.

Hey man, thank you for the video. It came in a very suitable time for me. I'm currently struggling with the impulse of replacing my S21+ unit by a Google Pixel 7 Pro. So I headed to a physical store, put them side by side, but the Pixel didn't impress me at all, particularly from a built perspective. The other candidate I have in mind is the S23 Ultra but prices are too high. So, after watched this video, I'm even more convinced that I should keep mine for now. Thanks a lot.

Besides Samsung driving me batty with the frequent enforced updates, this phone is a favorite (like Note 4, or an HTC something that was nifty at the time). Mine's been dropped on concrete a lot (no phone covers for me) and it has a wee bit of damage near one corner, but you can't really see it. I'm so fond of this one, I thought about getting a cover so it might last longer, but now I think I'll just keep it as is. Gives it character.

It's a great device with 888 chipset. Like a brand new device in 2023. This device is a keeper. Smaller in size than s22u or s23 ultra. You don't really need s pen and the slot it takes too much space

Ive had it since like 2 months after launch then traded it for the S22 plus and then bought the S21 plus again but tin red with 256GB of storage. Honestly always loved this phone. Its one of my dailies 😊 Mine on android 13 has been working very well

@Christabel Ogb Battery life is decent, and durability of that depends on how you use it, with a full charge I get one full day of usage (scrolling social media, checking emails, calling friends and stuff like that) but don't forget the fact that these series were made in 2021 (so it can vary depending on how a first owner used the phone)

Ill be honest for the past two years everything was fine until one ui 5 now i can see some hiccups and lags, maybe the exynos chip showing how bad it is, i don't regret buying it, i just want to replace it with the snapdragon and i am a huge fun of how the phone looks and its on top even better looking than the S23 in my opinion.

I have the S21+ and the Pixel 6 and even though the fingerprint scanner is slower on the Pixel 6? I honestly think I prefer Google's build of Android on the Pixel because the swipe down top menu is so much more visually modern and sleeker with the quick access buttons etc. One UI just looks so dated in comparison with the quick access shortcuts. Google's build of Android just looks better than Samsung's. Same with the settings menu too! Vanilla Android 12-13 UI is just more modern to me.

@Malachi Latroy I say the s21 plus is better because it has a better processor better battery life better camera and a litte bit bigger screen and keep in mind the note 10 came out in 2019 so that might be stuck on Android 12 still or 13 will be the last major update

Actually, this Samsung S21+ is getting 4 years major Android updates and at least 5 years security updates so it will get Android 14 next year and Android 15 in 2025. I don't know why most tech KZbinrs that review this don't research to know.

I'm considering to have either s21 plus or S21 Fe, both are in my budget in France, they send these two with snapdragon in some shops, but I really do hesitate because people s21+ is more premium and using gorilla glass stuff... but at the same time S21 FE seems more recent + updates I just wanna know which one has the better quality photo overall 😊 I really love to take pictures, i love to use front camera for social media content ( insta/ snapchat also using natural filters) And the back camera for landscapes, flowers, or bees butterfly pictures 🦋🌻💫🌺 Can you advise me ?🙏🏾

I think you might be better off with the s21+ than a s22+. S22+ gets more hot and battery drains faster. If you can trade in something for a s23+ you will be waaaaay better off.

Defford worth it. You gain on all fields. Also the exynos on the s21 series was a successful upgrade. To this day after 1 year of use I can make 7 hours of heavy usage. Also it will get updates till android 15. If you want to assure the s22plus go for it because you'll get Also android 16 but u will lose on battery.

If you can figure out a way to factory reset i'd try that first, but probably would be worth it to fix at that price. Even if you don't keep it you could probably trade it in on a newer samsung later.

The battery life isn't perfect, but it isn't bad. It does very good on gaming. I have no problems with playing games on it. If you want to also ask about the camera, it's good, but still, not perfect.
