It's pretty simple IMHO. Small limbo with some props, slider movement + adjustable lighting + masking + animation effects.. not that hard to make if you're familiar with video production/ editing

Switched to an S21 after being an iPhone user since 2018, I've realised how much better anroid is and what I was missing out on, most people who bully android are clearly people who have never tried android and see it as inferior as they think of android as cheap so they buy an iPhone. I went, some years ago, to Android. Still found it super weird Android stutters sometimes. The iPhone never did almost for years. I had track phones up until I got a used iphone for really cheap in highschool and have stuck with iphone since then. And when I tell you I'm over iphone, I'm OVER it, I'm so ready for the switch. I spent an hour looking at different models and specs, even spoke to a couple chat agents for some recommendations and whatnot, all without much help. Came to ole reliable youtube and just started watching reviews on certain phones and I think I found the one I'm gonna get. Shopping online is so overrated, it's easy to overlook things and get lost in the sea of listed models and specs without being able to see the actual phone and it's performance. This was super helpful!

I love this phone , I have the exact same one as in this video , I switched from a iPhone 11 pro max and I have zero regrets , battery life lasts all day and then some , the camera takes amazing photos, it's not laggy , I don't mind the 1080p because 1440 hurts my eyes anyway ( weird I know ) I don't mind the plastic back because I have a case on it 24/7 anyway and the size is perfect for my hands , plus I love themes and the ability to change the font style , perfect phone for me.

I love the design they used this year, I personally love the return to plastic backs. Makes you feel a lot more comfortable carrying the phone without a case. Then it feels significantly lighter.

Agreed. Glass is elegant, plastic is pragmatic. An aluminum unibody is also great. Not a fan of glass backs. Already have one glass surface to worry about, I don't need a second.

@@tonisedmak1073 it's decent. 5 to 6 hours of screen on time. I work 12 hour shifts, and I'm at 25 to 30 percent when I punch out at the end of the day. If on a day of heavy use, I get about 5 hours of screen on time.

I went from S10+ to S21. Honestly, with having pretty small hands for a guy, the phone fits a lot better for me. I didn't even notice the resolution drop until the specs mentioned it. I prefer the durability of plastic back to the glass, although it does lose the more premium look and feel. All in all it feels like a sidegrade with some quality of life improvements, but it runs nice and smooth.

First review of yours that I've watched...needed to replace my A50 and found this. Top-notch review! I appreciate your straight-forward delivery. Gave me the information I was seeking while maintaining interest. Initially planning on the A52 5G, but the not - stratospheric price plus features of the S21 5G including faster cpu, more ram, etc. made this an easy decision. I don't upgrade every 6 months (or year!) so long - term performance is a factor for me. Plastic back? Never saw the allure of a glass back, besides I always skin my phones anyway so back material is pretty much a non-issue to me.

Although I bought the Ultra, I can't say how much I appreciate people like Marques reviewing the entry-level models. Not everyone needs or wants (or can budget for) a $1k+ phone. Too often we are married to "needing" the newest and most expensive of everything. Having this type of data can help people make more informed buying decisions and alleviate some of that "gotta have it" mentality.

Excited for S21 plus review video coz i want to hear "It's not a flagship display from a S series phone" Galaxy M51 (midrange phone): 6.7 inches, 393 ppi S21 plus: 6.7 inches, *393* ppi *Rebranding* of *midrange* display?? For a bigger display, 393 ppi of a midrange phone is unforgivable. HOPING SOMEONE OR HIM WILL EXPOSE, Samsung downgraded a LOT especially on S21 plus.

@@normandy2501 i my opinion, no. The s20 seems better than the s21, the only reason Im "upgrading" is because im having a lot of lagging issues and battery problem. With the addition that my phone finally decided to shatter. But Im actually switching to One Plus. Tried the 8T in store and i liked it better than S21 and comes at a cheaper price. Im gonna wait for the one plus 9. Apparently its gonna have 12gigs of ram and 512 gbs of storage so that will be neat.

Coming from a s7 with QHD resolution I can say the difference in crispiness is really noticable. I would take QHD 60hz over 1080p 120hz any day. Hell I would even trade my s21 8g of ram with 4 GB of RAM and an old 765 Snapdragon without 5g if it meant getting QHD back at 60 Hz. You only really notice the 120hz when scrolling In the main menu (which you only really spend 5% of your time on your phone), in most apps 120hz is not that significant, so although 120hz is nice to have i really donc find it to be that significant. I went In the settings to set a 60hz refresh to save on battery life. All the other cuts Samsung made on the s21 I can happily live with but lowering that QHD res was a big mistake in my opinion.

I feel the same way. Now with hardware and software being so great, it's getting more difficult to justify spending over a thousand dollars for a phone that would depreciate in value relatively quickly after a year and mid range phones doing more than ever before. I'm glad many companies are providing a cheaper, flagship level device while also having the high end flagships for those who want it. I do wish that there are more mid range phones with larger screens though. I wouldn't mind paying a little more for that. You're left almost paying double the cost of most mid range phones if you want a slightly larger screen size (also larger battery as well). Something like a OnePlus Nord, Pixel 5 (still wish Google would release a Pixel 5 XL), S20 FE, and so forth with almost the same hardware but a larger screen for $100-150 more would be great.

@@HaswellCore Glad smaller screens and a tablet on the side works for you. Still doesn't mean there isn't a place for larger screens to consume more content. Some people have a single device that encompasses all of their needs and don't have multiple devices. It's not like a 6.7" screen or slightly smaller makes the phone very huge (especially these days where most of the front of the phone is a screen). Those with larger hands/thicker fingers have a better time using phones with larger screens as well. We already have budget/mid range phone with smaller screen sizes but the same isn't true for phones with larger screens.

And I dont think there are many smaller phones than the 4a. Entry level stuff like the redmi note have a large enough screen and its at 200g. Pro max and S21 Ultra are at 226 or so. Pulls my pants down and doesnt fit into a single pair of pants made for women.
