Its good but don't expect mind-blowing results, comparing this to my old s7e i see a 30% improvement in cameras and battery, compared to my mate 20 pro, I would say a 15%. Also Samsung lies about the 5000mah battery, I'm pretty sure it's 4500mah or even less after a few months of usage

Astro and multiple exposures added to my s20 ultra and fold 4 with recent expert raw update. The fold 4 didn't come with Astro or multi exposures until the latest update. Nice to see my s20 ultra with one UI 5.1 and all the great features. Still a great phone after all these years.

this expert raw app makes the iPhones fake long exposure setting look positively childish, of course 3rd party iphone apps will create similar looking images, but these look way more realistic and actual long exposure like instead of frame averaged long exposure, excellent video

Unfortunately, this method has some restrictions. At day time there is no way to shoot long exposure (due to lack of F-number control). Even with lowest ISO and minimal compensation, the images will be over-exposed. I solved problem shooting through 77mm ND filter.

never would have thought to screen record while shooting anything, kinda cool, though I never screen record anything at all so I guess I wouldnt think of it. is there a suggestion box somewhere for expert raw lol, I think the adjustment wheel/slider/thingy is too sensitive, at times when i try to manual focus the wheel moves when i lift my finger off the screen and is supremely annoying, would be nice if it was a little slower or maybe even be able to attach it to the side button options like the zoom is.

why is expert raw making the images too bright and saturated? im trying to photograph a dark scene but it makes the photo bright and saturated even in the jpeg photo..i feel like controlling the ISO, shutter speed/EV and white balance is pointless if its going the brighten the photo anyway..in the native pro mode, it gives you 2 different photos, the raw and the processed image, i use the processed image as guide in editing the raw photo..please enlighten me... :)

i have a question: why can't i take 108mp full resolution photos with the expert raw app? the phone has such a great sensor but i can only shoot 12mp professional photos? that's not enough detail. i know, binning is helpful in lowlight situations like in this video but in daylight situations it is a pity that i have to lose so much information. 12mp is 9 times less detail than 108mp. that is a great difference. i hope samsung makes 108mp mode available for the expert raw app.

You seem like you know your stuff, but megapixels are basically meaningless in details, ever compared this s22U to an old eos 7D? It doesn't matter if it is 108mp or 12mp, that 108mp is just the 12mp split apart, it doesnt actually have 108mp

@@tridinh1011 you are right. but i would appreciate it, if the camera had e.g. 24mp because 12mp is somehow too little. it is true, 108mp doesn't mean better quality, but 12mp is too little resolution, 24mp or 50mp without binning like dslr's would be great.

It's not locked! It's just not usable if you start using manually settings. Goto the left and hit reset and it will work.

You can't do that without a filter or an app to simulate it. Hopefully Samsung adds this to the computational photography parts like most other cameras, there are some apps in the app store but nothing that I found that's good. So for now it's a physical filter or nothing unfortunately. (If anyone find a good app let me know!)

PLEASE HELP - I'm trying to shoot waterfalls with a slow shutter speed during the later hours of the morning (yes worst time due to hard light) but on overcast days to create milky water, but I can't adjust the aperture to balance an overexposed image. I'm assuming the aperture is fixed at f2.8 on the cameras of the s22 Ultra. I guess I can shoot with an overexposed raw file then change later in post-edit but I'd like to view what I'm shooting when I'm there. The other solution is to shoot my subjects during the golden hrs but most of these waterfalls are a few kms in the bush so it can be dangerous. Any suggestions would be terrific. Thanks in advance
