Galaxy S22 Ultra vs Galaxy S21 Ultra: This is a tough one...

I have the S21 ultra and now got to S22 ultra and one big disappointment to me is that the speakers are not as good as the S21 ultra. Not quite as loud as well as lacks the richness and quality. 😢

Both these phones are great. I had the s21 ultra and hands down best android phone I owned since the n10 plus. Now I have the s22 ultra because I missed that note feel and experience. But overall both phones are great.

I got rid of the Fold 3 and got the S22U. Couldn't get used to a Fold. I love the phone, and you are correct, the video stabilization and colors on the video recording look best on the S22U. Can't wait to show my husband since he has the S21U and keeps saying his camera is the best all around. Haha. I did see you write that the pictures on his are better, so I'll give him that :D Thanks for the comparison!

Every time I pick up my S21U after handling the S22U I always say dang the S21U feels so good in the hand 😆. The 22 feels mad wide, it even make the 13pm feel comfortable but I still love it though

I'm used to the boxy design because I had a Note 10+ that is the same exact size and design lol so that's not uncharted territory for me, but what I do have to adjust to is my S-pen being on the opposite side every time I go for my S-pen I keep pressing the speaker cutout on my otterbox case which feels like the S-pen is missing that's about damn gave me a heart attack🤣

I'm upgrading from the S21U to the S22U. The square display is better imo. You could tell that the S22U has a wider display so when you full screen anything it doesn't cut off the top and bottom so much compare to the S21U. I don't like tall and skinny phones so the S22U has a better aspect ratio to me.

Yeah I like the boxy design too, it's just like my Note 10+. It just has more of a refined sleeker modern look to it imo.

The S21 U looks narrower than the S22 U. Also, I've seen another speaker test and the S22 U was noticeably worse than both the S21 U and the Note 20 U.

Looking forward to comparing both but I am stoked about the S22U modem getting better service in areas I've lost signal completely in the past. I'll gladly trade that off for worse ergos and slightly lower SOT. Doesn't matter how nice a phone is if you can't use it. Also if you're comparing size and ergos, a more apples to apples comparison would be using the S21 Ultra with the S Pen case vs the S22 Ultra in the regular silicone case. The LTPO on the S21 Ultra also drops down to 10hz while the S22 Ultra can go all the way down to 1hz with it's LTPO 2 display.

I upgraded to the S22 Ultra coming from the s21 Ultra, s20 Ultra before that. So far so good I go for the camera improvement. I am hoping battery time is about the same? Still testing waiting for it to settle in.

Got both here and honestly unless you are a TRUE note user wanting that note feel and built in s pen we lost last year, you don't need to make an upgrade. S21 Ultra is a beast and you can easily keep it an additional year.

The thing that gets me for the S22 Ultra is the squared like shape. I like my phones with a curvy shape so that's gonna be a hard one

Great content. My wife has s21 ultra with the supcase unicorn beetle pro that holds the s pen. She loves it. You don't have to snap the pen into the case like most of the cases that carry the s pen. With the supcase unicorn beetle pro, you just slide it through the hole on the top. Then you can push the pen up from the side of the pen holder. Me I have the note20 ultra so I have no worries, but I still use the supcase unicorn beetle pro for my phone. Best protection cases out there.

You have to use the S Pen to appreciate it. Years ago I forced myself to use my leather organizer, and it really did help me alot, same thing with S Pen.

The S21 only has been out for a year it's still amazing phone I don't see any big difference of the s22 Ultra I got S21 Ultra my personal opinion identical of course you going to say the s22 is better because it's a newer phone. But they both are almost similar to each other.
