It honestly looks incredible. I was honestly getting ready for another S21,S22 dissapointment in the video department but the processing power and new sensors and ois system really improved video. I've never seen you crop in a night time video and the Samsung phone having the better quality and even noise reduction. The saturation should be an easy fix and knowing Samsung they will address it immediately.

You can get similar details with the s22 Ultra. Just not automatically. If you adjust the temperature to a bit more warm, add a bit more contrast, and reduce the exposure, you'll see better detail. I've been doing this on mine. It's especially more pronounced when I use Lumafusion preset adjustments.

I personally love the Samsungs video. Cause what I'm used to with the Samsung phones I've had, the videos look far too bright in low light, making me want to use the pro video mode so it looks more life-like and less like a "phone camera". To me, especially compared to the 8k on the Samsung, the iPhone was too bright in a lot of the dark scenarios, especially that last one with the screen. Also, a personal thing for sure, the red tone at night looks nice cause I generally dislike a yellow tone in my photos and videos. Definitely seems like a worthy upgrade from the Note 20 Ultra!

Watched this video comparison on my 5 Year old Galaxy S7 with WQHD Screen mode On. Noticed few things 👇 - 0:33 colour shift - 2:40 look at the difference in sky colour - 2:52 iPhone's action mode looks smoother and brighter whereas S23 ultra's video looks more on contrasty side - 3:57 iPhone's videos might have more light glares coming in..but look at the details on wall compared to the darkness and contrast on S23 ultra - 4:10 iPhone with larger field of view in selfie videos compared to closup zooms on S23 ultra - 4:16 skin tone tuning is better on the iPhone (Samsung still maintaining their contrasty darkness legacy) - 4:35 once again the yellowish tint thing and closeup zoom field of view 👎 - 5:58 8k mode in Night is a beast on S23 ultra (From a Diehard Samsung fan) Coming to other Hardware perspective..I loved the inclusion of UFS 4.0 and LPDDR5X in S23 ultra.. bcoz these things come in handy for long term usage ❤️

The S23 ultra when you're filming yourself in the beginning is better in terms of sound, you hear less noise, I think that's much better. You don't have to hear all that noise from cars so loudly.

S23 Ultra’s colors look very accurate to real life and a pro camera. Apple always with that very unnatural tomato orange hue which some people simply die for idk why. Also the lense flare at night is a nightmare in iPhones. I so regret spending 1400€ in 13PM last year..

@@ffmde8268 To me the video on the iPhone still looked better especially for colors and HDR. The quality is kinda the same in 4k. In 8k tho the Samsung is really really impressive. Tho the iPhone still have some key advantages in front-facing video the iPhone was significantly better kinda shocked actually. In cinematic video the iPhone had better HDR but also was able the separate his hand from the main subject a lot like a real camera. The action mode was more stable with better HDR. The iPhone still leads in video but the IPS improvements on Qualcomm really really show this year and Apple has to counter hard with the iPhone 15 Pro/PM. They will get 1 inch sensor which will mark the first time In a long time when Apple in on par with camera hardware.

@@justinflood Much of the same I said to the other guy. The overall package on the iPhone is superior in quality to the Samsung. For day light video they seemed the same but for low light the quality was the same but the HRD seemed better on the iPhone as well as colors. In front-facing video the iPhone was significantly better, in action mode the iPhone had better stabilization and HDR, in cinematic mode the iPhone was capable of bluring his hand while S23U failed. Things like that make the iPhone video better but S23U with that 8k oh maamma. What an improvement made primarily by Qualcomm tho. Still that is better than Samsung making it as it will be the case for all manufacturers.

The out-of-focus area (bokeh) applies to both the background and the foreground. A hand stretched far out in front should therefore also be blurred. Samsung's algorithm seems to work uncleanly here.

Honnêtement chapeau a Samsung il s'est vraiment amélioré ça donne envie d'avoir un S23 ULTRA, la qualité de ses vidéos en journée comme de nuit sont incroyables surtout la nuit ou j'ai été vraiment surpris, les couleurs sont très agréable a la vue 👌🏾.
