Very good video. I usually don't go crazy with trying save battery power, but you mentioned a couple of things I never thought of and I don't need turned on (nearby device scanning, and a couple of the motions and gestures settings).

My s24 plus hold like 8 hours max it's really strange

S24 being a expensive flagship phone . Battery performance is pathatically worse than a mid range phone . S24plus just drains battery shameless . Bullshit

Yea i know like 8 to 9 at games maby 5 6 to pubg and other big games idk why the phone is not fake and the battery life is good . .

for the display resolution. Since the native resolution is qhd, bumping it down to fhd will not make a huge difference. Some KZbinrs have also tested this out

Pretty much confirmed my old configuration. I used Galaxy S series phones from the original Galaxy S thru the S22 Ultra. Then I bought a 13 Pro Max and now a 15 Pro Max but couldn't get Samsung out of my blood. I'm waiting for my S24 Plus to arrive.

Hi Micah. I discovered you today. That's a very informative video that u have got there. I am going to buy the S24 base model. As I am from India, we have the Exynos 2400 here. I just wanted to know how much time did ur S24+ take to figure out which apps to put to deep sleep and did it increase the battery life of the phone (I mean day 2 of using the phone vs day 30 of using the phone) Also I have one tip for you. You can make a video of a battery drain test with S24+ with the settings in this video applied vs not applied. This will prove it to the audience.

@@shubhamspd2002 appreciate you supporting! Once apps settle in from downloading and/or transferring over from a previous phone, deep sleep started kicking in for me around day 30. It takes about 30 days or so of inactivity before it starts routinely deep sleeping apps sooner than that.

The camera will always drain battery. Even cameras themselves drain battery fast. Glad I could assist!

Dear Micah I hope you doing well and thanks for all the information I have a one question and I hope you advise? So I'm using for my phone battery BASIC option but I don't understand when become 100% should I remove it or keep it charging till become 100% green? because after 100% it keep showing up white so I'm really confused please advise thanks brother

Basic will recharge the phone again once it drops to 95% while on the charger. So your battery won’t wear out being constantly charged, this will stop charge at 100% while still connected.

MAN, Thanks Micah! what an awesome video! liked, subscribed, and downloaded. I don't have the S24 yet, maybe tomorrow or Friday. I am wrestling over whether staying with Verizon or going with T-Mobile which is giving me a better deal. Also whether to go with 256G or paying the extra $100 for the 512G. I am old school and was use to having a lot of movies and TV shows on my Micro SD card. I just had my S7 (Yep S7) die yesterday. and because I'm broke as a joke right now and tend to keep my devices a long time, maximizing long term battery life is crucial to me. and you nailed it!! I am also wondering if I slow charging at 25 watts or 45 watts, and turning off fast charging. If anyone has an opinion on carrier, drive space, or charging speed I would love to here it,,Thanks Micah..Peace!

I’m definitely glad I could assist! I’m with T-Mobile and love their service, and it’s only getting better after their win and arrival of 5G technologies went through test or today actually! If you don’t plan on upgrading in the next year or two, and want to download content to your device, 512GB will be worth it. Definitely appreciate your support in this KZbin space!

@@martymacconnell1826 these options are available if you want to improve battery life. The S24+ already gets good battery life as it is. Some people don’t want to use all of the features. Just helpful tips. 😁
