I have noticed that all the KZbinrs talked about the battery, camera, and display, but they don't discuss how useful the Samsung apps are: Samsung Notes (lock notes), Samsung Wallet (cash rewards), Samsung Internet (toolbar customization, unblock ads temporary), Samsung Email (a free, ad-supported app with an inbox-all-accounts feature), Good Lock (redesigns the whole One UI), and so on.

I love the design of the S24. I am not excited for the S25's design. It's looking too iPhone imho. As for the battery life... I feel like it could do better especially in the sleep mode. It does last for the day, but my work iPhone 13 has amazing sleep settings. I do agree that overall the S24 is a great phone. I was going to switch over to the S25 but the design is deterring me. I honestly wish they would put more mp on selfie cameras. And I agree the Auto on the camera needs work...

Great video as always CJ. Eco systems aside cause that matters to some. I have both the 16pm and s24U and they are both amazing but my top goes to the s24U. I can’t wait for the s25u with one ui 7 and the slight redesign and the snap dragon 8 elite. The Samsung eco system is very robust as well. The tablet is phenomenal. They also have very nice laptops esp the book 3 pro.

Every phone has its pros, but overall, the S24 Ultra is the phone of 2024. It may not have the best camera-my 16P Max does great video and photo-but when we consider overall performance in 99% of things, it's hard to beat the S24 Ultra.

Apple has been getting away with the same design for years and people still buying them year after year so small tweaks to the design on Samsung is ok for me. If you ask me Samsung found a signature design for the 'S' lineup which they make subtle changes to distinguish them from the previous models.

Phones lasting longer now and with longer updates I have no problem with Samsung keeping a same design for 4 years while just tweaking the hardware and software. Not everyone does upgrade thier phones every year. Apple does it with little complaints from its users

I haven't had a single issue or scratch on my S24 Ultra. So yeah, I'd say it's the best phone of 2024. The Buds Pro 3 do Squeal when in your ears & you lightly press to adjust to get the best fit. I'm on my 3rd pair & every pair does this. Samsung is aware & trying to fix this issue.

My UK, nearly two year old S23 Ultra has been the best phone I have ever owned. Sadly, it's USB port died over the last month, which isn't notable in itself. However, I have a work colleague with two base S23's in his Family ,which have BOTH had their USB ports fail at the same time as mine. Planned nudge by Samsung into buying a new S25 device?. No. I simply cannot believe that Samsung could ever be so devious. I must confess though that a new S25 Ultra now looks appealing to me.

The S23 Ultra was built so well, in my opinion, it hurts the case for the S24 Ultra being the phone of the year. There are minimal updates from 23 to 24. Is the 24 Ultra a beast still, absolutely, but not enough change between the two versions. My S23 Ultra is still going strong 💪🏾.

Just because the updates of the 24 seem minimal to you , doesn't mean anything to anyone coming from an earlier phone than the 23 , so for them it would be the phone of the year. Plus it's 2024 so the 23 is irrelevant in the argument for the best phone of 2024.

S23 ultra battery life was below par post 6 months and the curved display is a headache for case less user like myself. S24 ultra although a tad bit uncomfortable too hold bcz of the sharp edges just feel better bcz of flat display. And battery is night and day

Bro I was so close to getting a galaxy watch ultra so close like I had it in my cart and everything I still owed a little bit of money on my six classic and something just kept telling me not to do it not to do it and everything I'm seeing online is telling me not to do it so I didn't do it thank the Lord I didn't The only complaints I have was Samsung's wearable is they don't do enough software updates they don't upgrade the watch faces enough they don't they just set it and forget it and it drives me nuts The galaxy buds 3 pro are awesome I love them and the voice controls Little sensitive but we're good but I don't know what it is with Samsung in there earbuds they all make my ears itch and I don't know why but I'm using Galaxy buds 2 pro when my 3 pro die and the three pro definitely sound way better than the two pro I don't know what people are talking about but anyway

To add some balance to this s24u lovefest. I own an s24u, fold 6,16 pro and pixel 9 pro xl. (Yes i have a problem😅) Out of the pixel,iphone and samsung the s24u has the worst haptics,worst speakers,worst camera, worst ergonomics and inferior battery compared to pixel 9 pro xl. As a normal person, not like a lot of sponsored/biased/pandering youtubers i find it disappointing that none of said youtubers mention things like these listed above. Of course things like ergonomics are subjective to a point but you dont need an engineering degree to tell the s24u is not going to be comfortable to use/carry. You can like yhe design but it is clearly inferior from a practical stand point compared to rivals. The camera struggles mightly with moving objects and fine detail like dog fur compared to pixel and iphone. The ultrawide lens is 4 yrs old!!!! I could go on and on but you should get the point. The s24u is a good phone but great, it is not!

It's been a while since I got my S24 ULTRA. I also find its camera to be a bit inconsistent. So yeah , it may not be the best camera phone and have the best haptics. But I know for sure that it has one of the best if not the best speakers in it.

​Honestly,for a flagship phone I think the speakers are mediocre at best. The iPhone 16 pro and pixel 9 pro xl have way better sounding speakers to me.even my pixel 8a has better sounding speakers imo, they aren't as loud but have a fuller sound and more mid bass. The s24u speakers sound tinny to me and lack any decent bass. I have tried all different eq settings but they still don't compare to my other phones. They do sound better then s22u,s23u though. Don't get me wrong they don't sound terrible and if I didn't have anything else to compare I might even say they sound good. 🤷​@@student7173

And tbh , I still very much like this speaker and to compensate for the low bass , there is equalizer available, so I could tune it to my liking . I don't have that big of a sample size of phones to compare .

Yes, it is overrated by influencers but they make a lot of money from Samsung sponsorship, affiliated links and free trips to exotic places that it is no surprise that they do not represent real users. No phone is perfect but the S24U does not stand out unless you need the s-pen which I don't. Otherwise it is one of many that people could subjectively say are better phones or more value.

Sorry but i hear some youtube channels keep promoting gaming on this......see first of all they are just promotions secondly the sd 8gen3 is not optimized for gaming u will definitely have frame drops and some heating too......i have experienced this on my friends s24 ultra...so if u are a gamer or game quiet a lot avoid this and go iphone be ios is well optimized for gaming....but if u want an all-arounder phone with less gaming close your eyes and go for this

I just got the s24 ultra. And pixel 8 pro. Had an pixel 6pro. S24 ultra isnt worth the price tag. They were all pretty much comparable. The s24 ultra has the S pen and maybe a bettter camera and video zoom is better. I paid $400 cad for the 8 pro and $800 cad for the s24 ultra. Is it worth $400 more for the average person? No.
