As an iPhone and s24u user, I'd prefer the camera of the iPhone over the s24u and the s24u features over the iPhone. For social media, the iPhone is number one, and for daily tasks, typing, and emails, the s24u is number 1

hey ! I'm considering buying Samsung s24 ultra vs Pixel Pro/XL vs iPhone 16 Pro. I want to ensure I get the best value for money and choose a device I’ll use and enjoy for a long time. I’d really appreciate your advice on which phone would be the most functional, with great performance, excellent battery life, an amazing camera, and sufficient storage. I ordered the Samsung S24 Ultra and received it, but after holding the phone in my hands, I realized it feels bulky, heavy, and not quite as aesthetically pleasing as I had hoped. It was a good deal, especially with 1TB of storage, but now I feel stuck and unsure of what to do next. I’m also wondering if transitioning to an iPhone might be a good idea for the future, especially as I consider potentially moving to a Mac when my current laptop (a Dell) needs replacing (it's working well at the moment). Would it still make sense to use an iPhone alongside my Samsung tablet and Dell laptop, or would that create a lot of compatibility issues?I feel completely torn. When it comes to size, maybe I’ll get used to the weight and dimensions of the S24 Ultra? After all, most flagship phones seem quite large these days. While I’m not particularly interested in the S Pen, I’m more focused on performance, camera quality, and price.I’m also open to learning new software if I go with the iPhone or Pixel. At the same time, I’m not in any rush to replace my laptop or Samsung tablet, as they’re both still working well. Please help. In term of the price, I can get samsung s24 ultra (1TB) for similar price to iphone 16 pro (256GB - is it enough by the way?). what's the best decision to make? :) or perhaps I should wait for samsung s25 ultra? - but it will be probably much more expensive and I will miss that good deal I have now for s2 ultra.

I own both and the 16PM battery life is definitely slightly better. However, the S24U battery life is still no slouch. Also, people remember these battery test aren’t accurate because everyone doesn’t use their phones the same way. Likewise, we don’t know what settings these phones are on.

I had issues for 2 months when switched to iOS 4 years ago, but got used to it. Now that I’m back to Android, I’m mad about having back on left edge and back on right edge and no forward motion, also in IG instead of opening messages or profile from reel it closes reel or closes IG. And when I’m in full screen mode I usually swipe down as that will close the picture, but it’s not, I have to go back instead of closing the picture.

my s24 ultra is getting hot often, dims out outdoors so can't see a dam thing on it when the sun is out, and the battery life not as good as i wished for - however i'm not an apple fan and all i can say is well done apple optimising their phone, i would still never get an iphone tho - picking my next android phone will be a more careful choice - potentially getting a midranger rather than a flagship halo device

I've recently bought OnePlus 12 and i'm having a blast. The combination of 5400mah battery and 100W charging is just such a good experience. Oneplus 13 is coming in several months with 6000mah battery and ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, it should be even better.

I went from a flagship phone to a midrange smartphone last year... I have been pleasantly surprised. I get better battery life now because of weaker CPU and used the extra cash I saved to invest in a great ecosystem with a great laptop, wireless earbuds, a tablet etc.. I saved money and have had a better experience than before

How can you forget to mention the new iOS18’s photos app being just a huge mess, each time I open the app it feels like a challenge to navigate through. The back gesture on iPhone sucks too, it’s different everywhere. These two things really piss me off

Easily the best channel for phone reviews for a while now. Nobody is as thorough as you are when testing numerous devices. Most reviews these days feels like they're just filling out a check list, where as techmo's approach makes it very evident that there's passion involved. He is one of the very few I would watch when making an informed buying decision (or simply just to see how phones at different price point's realistically perform in the real world)

From an objective view, the iPhone is the most significant in battery life, performance, and thermals; nearly all tests prove this. Subjective, with the camera, I prefer contrast over-saturation and vividness. But the next person may like it the other way. In videography, the iPhone wins, and the issues with moving objects with the Samsung make it a tough buy if you want to take advantage of that one moment. The photographic style makes the iPhone far more flexible as it is native on-device and non-destructive, meaning you can change a photo in pre-shot, real-time or post and micro-manage the tones, including the skin tones. This is game-changing for the average user; otherwise, they would have to use a third-party app to do something similar. If you are buying now and are not an S-pen user, the iPhone is a better phone, though some people will choose a lesser phone to stay in Android.

The Galaxy definitely offers more features has a better front screen I do believe the Galaxy destroys the iPhone... The thing you didn't talk about is when you're using or comparing the Galaxy versus iPhone it depends on what mode you're using. it depends if your Galaxy is using full HD if it's using quad HD resolution full brightness extra brightness it just depends versus the iPhone. the iPhone overall does have a tad better battery life yes but Samsung has overall faster charging so I guess it's a tie. would you rather have better battery life or faster charging. for me I've always loved fast charging. I've never had a problem with overheating issues. never had a problem with the battery deforming or having issues.. my phones alwwys last atleast 2_4 years...

It must be, because many people in Taiwan are already complaining that the iPhone 16 Pro Max is overheating and crashes, has poor battery life, and even has poor touch controls on the screen.

What is draining your battery on the Ultra? I know some users (including myself) are having an issue with abnormal KZbin drain. Also, that battery pack seems like it'll take 5+ hours to charge the Ultra. Ain't nobody got time for that

Im using samsung s23 ultra but in reality iphone is more powerful in terms of overall performance . Samsung uses much battery in background my phone stays alive only 4 hours in normal use i have to charge it 3 times a day

iOS has 4 gestures, bottom to top for home, left to right for back, right to left for forward, and top to bottom for when you are in full screen on any app (YT, photos, car sale apps, etc). Android has same gesture for back in any app, and that gesture is left to right, and right to left, so missing on forward and I keep going back. Biggest issue for me on Android: bottom to top, and then click on background to open home, but ups, it’s the X button to close all apps and clean memory.

Great Video, I'm on the fence between getting Galaxy s24 Ultra and Pixel 9 Pro XL, seeing the battery life of Galaxy after couple of months makes me certain Samsung has major battery longevity issues and that the Pixel is the way to go.

Hmm I had a different experience with my 4a5g and s10. S10 is older but the battery still holds up today, (not at today standards tho) since the s10 did not really have a large battery from the start.

@@DU715 I was thinking about battery longevity (how much battery degrades after many months of use), battery life means nothing if it can't last a full day after 7 months let alone couple of years, speaking from experience, had couple of top end galaxy phones over the years and on each battery life started off great but would became abysmal after only year and a half

When the S24U was running One UI 6.1, it lasted 16 hours and 14 minutes watching a KZbin video at maximum brightness with the screen brighter function turned on. However, when it was running One UI 6.1. 1, the S24U lasted only 10 hours and 32 minutes under the same conditions. In reality, it seems to happen only due to software differences on the same device.

I have had the s24 Ultra since release. Every update I have gotten, my battery actually lasts longer then it did out of box. So i don't know if you are just spewing words or are remembering an individual experience you have had. The reason I know this is because I knew I was going to want to see a year comparison with my usage on battery. To give you a little bit of info On release - 9 hrs 23 mins screen on time. 13 hours screen off time = 22 hours 23 mins from 100% to 0 On 10/2/2024 - 13 hrs 12 mins screen on time. 15 hours screen off time = 28 hours 12 mins from 100% to 0 that's almost a 6 hour difference just off of the phone learning my usage habits, apps getting better optimized for the phone, software updates that make the phone more efficient. Ect. This is my individual experience and I stand by it.

Lol, also yes I do agree that every phone company will release an update and it makes something better but then it also worsens something else within that update (Probably not on purpose but still nevertheless). Then they release another update to fix whatever the last update made worse. Then the cycle continues.

YT PiP in iOS is allowed in some regions only. For example, it does not work in my country, though sometimes it glitches and goes PiP.

I switched my 15 pro to S24 ultra , S24 ultra has better battery life than iphone pros . But If you are I phone user , just skip 16 pro and go for promax . If you are on apple eco system, go I phone is the better choice. Just my opinion, Peace ✌️.

Hey there is an universal back gesture in iPhone. When you are in the app and want to go to the previously use jest swipe at the very bottom end of the screen from left to right. It works also in the other direction.

I switched from google pixel to S24u this year and in my opinion pixel is better than S24 ultra. As a student i was attracted by the s pen functions which i think it will be useful for me to take quick notes.. but the truth is that It is very difficult to write notes on this screen. Another fact is I sold my google pixel after two years and I got a decent amount of money, but now when I tried to sell this phone i am so disappointed because this phone is not even a year old and the value i am getting is frustrating.. there is value for money when you buy new Samsung phones but if you want to sell we need to regret

I feel like your s24 sd would win the battery test against s24 ultra, which is strange. Because iphone 16 performed badly against samsung and google, but iphone 16 is only 20-30 percent behind 16 pro max.

So iPhone BT don’t use much battery, and Android does? iOS is constantly using BT for contact swap, airdrop, etc. I’m using Android and iOS so I’m not bias in any way, but I think you might be. iOS is better in stability and performance, still using iPhone 12 Pro Max and have 1 day battery life, but Samsung S23 Ultra is getting ready to be replaced for S25U due to battery and performance issues, I know I can do factory restart and it’ll be better, or replace battery, but I don’t like to fix phones, so I’ll have to change it, again just my point of view. And no I’m not buying iPhone 16 PM, waiting for the 17 PM to see if I’ll upgrade, or might go with 16 PM once 17 goes out and price drops if I’m not totally pleased with 17 PM. I’m still not feeling like I’m missing out on something for not upgrading, but I’ll miss my volume knob.

Idk if it's just me.... once samsung reaches 10%, it's literally just a race to the charger counting down 10 seconds from there.... 5% look again... It's at 1% ready to die. That annoys me. I want to change back to iphone, but I'll miss the 3x/5x quality in the samsung. I've always found iphone images zoomed in at all to be fuzzy. And tryna zoom into a plane was horrid on detail... but the Samsung did that perfectly. And i took amazing shots of animals etc with my s23 ultra. That my iphone 13 pm wouldn't of gotten great at all... But i miss the ios aspect of iphone tho... and the other features it has when doing phone calls etc with other ios users. It's the small things for me. Android took away the fun aspect of calling family. I just don't find an Android interface as appealing for me. But it's an awesome phone with many cool features nonetheless. But i do like the colors on iphone cam better for potraits and when samsung blurs edges on food pics etc, it's very bothersome and too much of a swirl effect i don't like.

My s24u can last 1 day though. I dont need a qhd resolution and just made it to FHD and adoptive refresh rate.

This shutter lag on samsung... I really like this brand but in camera it is too bad. Photos of objects in motion are usually bad and blurry

iPhone will last longer as a phone, is safer and believes does great images and videos(I ve got 13pro max) and before I was android user for over decade. be honest 16 pro max is in bad shape(no AI and camera problems and other issues). So I kinda wait for s25 ultra and let c

I used it for a week and sold it away and get the 16 Pro and I love it very much. Luckily I got the S24 Ultra as a company year end dinner lucky draw prize. For my own preferences only. It's utterly useless and I super hate it. Especially it's stylus! I super hate stylus! I always prefer iPhones. As for battery I have no issues. I always can charge my iPhone in my car. So I care less for it's battery though.....

I have a S24U and the camera is trash. If you need to take a picture of a moving subject or low light you will end up with a noisy and blurry photo
