I think there is a handful of use cases for AI, apparently circle to search, AI select and obviously the Assistant are good uses of AI Removing stuff from photos also good, some stuff is just for fun or a gimmick though for sure

I got Samsung's screen protectors after seeing the state of some people S24 Ultras, going to keep a screen protector on for at least a year or so, then I can see how people's screens fare without a screen protector

one small thing, the 3x zoom lens has always been 10 megapixels since the s21 ultra and not 12mp. they just upscale the final photo resolution to 12mp.

When Flossy Carter, the Internet's biggest 'Samsung Knight' says this is the first year he probably won't be upgrading, you know you done F'd up... Maybe Samsung should have renamed the S25U the NS-Ultra (Not-So)? These problems with Samsung removing things all the time are reducing the value and bringing the Note/Ultra line down to mediocre status... The headphones, The headphone jack, the Micro SD slot, the IR blaster, the charger, and now the square edges and a Bluetooth S-Pen, all gone... Maybe, for many, this is 'the straw that breaks the Camel's back'...? Without its features and differences it's becoming just another slab phone. Yeah, it's still got an S-Pen but that may be gone in the next version because according to their data, only a few really use the pen... Oh well it was nice while it lasted... My S22U still works great and is as fast as the first day I got it. If it goes south, for the first time in 13 years (S3 and 5 Note/Ultra versions later) I will be entertaining a new brand... Samsung did this willingly to itself...

Nicely said. Removing not-so-used (at least Samsung said that) features would be ok if everything else was perfect or at least great. And it looks like they did not reach that level. Vibration (not many reviewers mention that) is still weak (since S22 series), camera has same old issues, whole S25 lineup looks generic and as halfbaked Iphone lookalike. After 7 years of using Samsung flagships only (S23U being my last one) I gave up mainly because of camera and UI issues and "wait for software updates, we'll fix it" tactics. As if they gave that device to us for free or charged 15 bucks, not 100 times more...

This seems like a solid phone, but for those that have an s24 line model, it's not worth the upgrade and just isn't an exciting phone. I'll keep my S24+ and will wait to see the S26 lineup (or maybe the flip/fold models later thid year).

I have an A54. Looking to eventually buy an S series. But the A series has pretty wicked battery life in light usage, that's why I'm stalling. By the way, great review Ella, and great nails, nicely done. As you can probably tell by my previous comments, I like pretty girls, and I cannot lie.😅😅

The S22 Ultra has the battery overheating issue. Honestly the S23 Ultra is the best as it had the best camera. S24 Ultra has an incredible battery, but unfortunately the camera downgrade was noticeable. Now with the S25 Ultra removing pen features it makes the decision to not upgrade easier.

TBH, I don't see any reason to upgrade from my S23U to this. They haven't fixed the main issue for me, i.e. blurry images of moving subjects.

You can solve it on your 23U. Use pro mode and increase shutter speed. The faster the action, the faster the shutter speed.

Not having Bluetooth on the s25 ultra who cares I don't. I have the s24 ultra like it never use the pen with Bluetooth at all of course some people got to complain about any little thing the way I feel if you don't like it then don't buy the new phone. I ordered the s25 ultra back to it will arrive today they say via UPS.
