FYI, i have made the switch too.. couple of times.. i keep going back and forth ,... just some tip... you will miss iOS in first few days or weeks.. but after some time you'll forget about it. So just give ur new phone some time when u got one cuz you're going into completely different galaxy (no pun) .. iOS and One UI is nothing alike. So brace for it and give it time.

Do I think iPhone is still bleeding edge? No, but the cons overall still outweigh the pros by a wide margin when you switch to an Android IMHO (and that’s before even factoring loss of FaceTime and iMessage!).

My dad uses both an iPhone and a Samsung. The reason apps aren't on his iPhone is that he uses them on his Samsung, and vice versa. He does all his banking on his Samsung because it's more convenient for him. He said the only reason he keeps the iPhone is for his MacBook; no other Windows laptop has that much decent battery life. My mother recently bought a Samsung because she has a Windows laptop, and iPhone connectivity is terrible with it. Most people buy phones which is convenient for them,

Tbh I prefer s25 ultra to 16 pro Max. The only thing that 16pm is better than s25U is the camera and gaming, why? Most android games aren't as optimized as iOS due to how the developers prefers iOS to android bcuz the users of the former tends to spend more on apps and games than the users of the latter. Take genshin impact for example, on iPhone 16 pro Max you can play at 120FPS while android is only limited to 60FPS plus iPhone can play at a higher resolution than Android. Even red magic 10 pro, a gaming phone that utilizes snapdragon 8 elite still can't play genshin at 120FPS due to poor optimization of android games, it's not that snapdragon 8 elite can't play at 120FPS, it's just that it's not optimized to play at 120FPS. Social media apps are more optimized for iOS than Android that's why most content creators or celebrities use iPhone since iPhone can post videos at 4k while android phones are only limited to 1080p or 1440p. In terms of photo and video I still prefer the iPhone 16 pro Max over the s25U though I prefer one UI 7 to iOS 18. Tl:Dr, iPhone 16 pro Max is better in camera and in game optimization where android is better in everything except this two aforementioned 👍👍 but in general performance Samsung is faster But personally I still prefer Samsung it all just depends on your preference Nice video comparison sir 😁

To anyone thinking about buying s25u I highly recommend going for Titanium JetBlack s25u. Rephrasing the great Jadakiss - all matte black everything, no gloss! MVP! one of the nicest builds ever made! I switched from iPhone 16 pro and couldn't be happier! Reminds me of the Phantom Black s23u, but that one had glossy sides, so this one trumps it! Before going for s25u, was thinking about 16pro Max as I wanted a bigger screen, but 16pro max just feels way too heavy and impossible and difficult to operate as its mid-top heavy vs s25u which just sits perfectly in hand! and the screen of s25u with its anti-reflective filter is just beyond amazing, small camera cut-out makes this a pocketable mini-ipad. AMAZING! This year is the first time since iPhone 12mini (before having pixel 2,3,4,5 and I was iphone user (12mini, 13mini, 13pro, 14pro, 15pro, 16pro) that I just did not like the stock/default pictures coming out of iphone camera..i just didnt like 6 out of every 10 pics I took. Either standard/gold/amber whatever I just didnt like the photos coming out of it. Before going for Titanium JetBlack s25u, I had s25u Titanium Gray for 24hour testing and with that one I loved pretty much 9.5 out of 10 pictures taken, especially selfie cam and the warm pics coming out of it. Beat my 16pro to pieces, but that just me I guess!

Speed is same in both the phones. Samsung has quicker animations, that's what makes you feel it's faster. Also, Apple takes a slower approach to animations because they feel its important for the Consumers to appreciate and savor the smooth animations Apple has. Its also why Apple forces you to swipe up to enter the home screen, and has an animation when going into it. Its super satisfying, but also- slow.

I recently switched from 14 years of iPhone to a Samsung galaxy flip. I love my galaxy and it's an awesome phone but I'll be switching back to iPhone. Not because it's a better phone internally but because it's hardware looks better. And also I have the apple ecosystem. Great phone though! Like be said the phones are neck and neck. No this is definitely a rightful comparison, not with the 17 Pro Max. These two were released a lot closer to each other and during the same few-month release season, so they're the current gen devices to compare. I don't really agree with the whole simplicity thing though. Both work out of the box, just that you have more options with the Samsung after the fact, and you have fewer complications with ecosystems and inconsistent back gestures and whatnot. Lacking options does not really equate to simple for me, and as for "looking more polished", not really sure what that means as both definitely are very very polished.

Can't wait to let go of my iPhone 16 Pro Max; my S25U will arrive in a few days. Using the iPhone now feels like using a 2015 Android flagship. So many bugs and lags. The iPhone's 8 GB of RAM no longer serves its purpose, besides maximizing Apple's profit; maybe that is why it can not handle AI like the competition.

I use a 16 Pro, I have never had any issues with lag, or any issues with AI. IMO, the AI has worked very well for me.

@@zzrvsI have a titanium blue 15 PM and I’m upgrading to the S25 Ultra as well. Apple has been severely lacking these last few years. And I’ve been dealing with glitches and strange bugs with the camera. Very excited for the Galaxy. But I’ll still keep the iPhone around as a work phone.

Reset the iPhone , press up then down quickly then hold power until you see the apple logo and then wait , if that doesn’t work go to reset in the general settings at the bottom and press reset settings , your phone will restart , you will have to enter passwords in again but should be faster , there has been a bug , I spoke to apple on the phone , they are aware of it and are advising people to do this , my 16 pro max has performed solid since

Neither is better. They both are strong in their respective areas. It depends on your preference, and what ecosystem your into. If your just started out, I’d go with iPhone, it’s much simpler, and far more integrated with other devices. The Samsung (or just android) in general is much more difficult to figure out. IMHO I think iPhone is better in an overall view, but the Samsung does have a few features that knock iPhone out of the park, but imo iPhone is better for doing everything. Samsung is for people using their phone for one or two specific tasks.

samsung is acting hella like apple after mocking them they are innovating less and less every year while removing features, even apple takes long to add features but at least when they do they don't remove them, (no extra button, no 10x, no bluetooth on spen) i take the one plus 13 as an android user

I have a S23 Ultra and use my phone mainly for basic things like taking pictures, edit in Lightroom, social media such as Whatsapp, Facebook and Instagram and perhaps play a small game on it such as Pokemon GO. Which phone is better for this kind of use? The S25 Ultra or the iPhone 16 Pro Max? I feel like the app optimization overall is better on the iPhone? Thanks for the info!

With better camera for photo and video, with somehow looking better from the front compared to S25ultra( s25ultra flat display design looks cheap), better looking burner style camera housing than cheap samsung lens IPHONE is a winner in looks. Smooth OS gives win to iphone ui7 still far behind. Efficiency of Apple with Performance is still ahead of samsung. Samsung had 1 thing in its favour that was being innovative every year but Samsung now become like Apple. If people want something like Apple they will choose Apple NOT its copycat

Just got my jet black 1 terabyte S25 Ultra and it's absolutely insane. As an iphone user the last 8 years it was time. I still think the iphone is easier to use but maybe just because I've had them for so long.

Once you get used to the gestures navigation, you'll see Android. Is more intuitive? I use and love both iOS Android. Congrats on your new phone. I hope everything works out well.

I just recently switched to Android, but one thing that annoys me, which didn’t happen on IPhone, is the fact that if I’m let’s say scrolling on my Android and I’m on page 125 on any app, or I’m scrolling through my follower/friends lists or a KZbin playlist, if I decide to quickly tab out and check my bank app or reply to a text, when I tab back into the original app, it has refreshed the app back to the top of the page and I have to scroll all the way down back to where I was previously. On the iPhone, I will be able to continue reading or scrolling from where I left off like 5 minutes ago, but in the Samsung, it resets back to the start. How do I fix that?
