Three things that I would like to see for the AOD: - a way to disable the random location of the clock (have the clock just in the center of the phone) - brightness control - double tap on screen to turn on/off

+markyz07 But it auto-shuts off when it is in your pocket, so it wouldnt burnin unless you litearlly leave the phone laying face up on the table for 10 hours straight. But i guess people would do that, then run complaining with their warranty, lol But i wish it had a default option on that only turns on the always-on display when you wave your hand over it, that way they wouldnt have to move the clock around cuz it would only turn on when you move the phone

Hey Jimmy how do i turn off the clock that is on the lock screen. The always on display is turned off. The only way i can get rid of it is to turn off the lock screen.

I have the S7. In the settings you have Lock screen and security. You have in there Screen lock type. I have mine set to PIN, Fingerprints. In info and app shortcuts you have App shortcuts. In there I put KZbin for the left shortcut and phone for the right shortcut. Now with that said, I press the power button to turn off my screen. Almost immediately my always on display comes on. Pressing my home key button it brings me now to my lock screen. In the left and right corners it shows my shortcuts. Swiping brings up the screen to enter my pin or use fingerprint. I can double press the home button and bring up my camera and use it. Exiting out puts me back at the home screen. However the right and left shortcuts do not work, no matter what app I choose. You show on your video of the two apps working, but you don't say how you got them to respond when the phone is truely locked. The phone would have to have the Screen lock set to Swipe which defeats the purpose of a lock screen. Only then will my two chosen apps work. Please tell me how you got your two apps to work.

It uses hardly any battery and it cools the battery which is cool. I don't trust that it actually saves your whole battery percentage. Ultra Power saving mode and the regular Power saving mode do help your phone to save power though. Something cool is that with the Find My Phone thing lets you turn on Ultra Power Saving Mode for the newer samsung phone.

Hey Jimmy, I just updated my S6 from lollipop 5.1 to marshmallow 6.0.1 and the unlock effects under lock screen settings are gone. I see that you don't have them either. Any way to get that back ?

just returned my s7 edge. love the phone love touchline but notifications suckling for me. when the phone is idle and I have a black screen or also when I have the always on display which I love too unless it's a small or a call nothing opened up to the lock screen. that means when someone what apps me I have to manually open the phone instead of see it straight away without a single press. it also means I can do just us a simple press and I'm talking back. no I have to press finger print to open phone. then I have to press the notification. this feels old and is a issue for me. I haven't had to use any of my other phones in years like this and even though a lot is brilliant in this handset notifications seems to be something the Samsung galaxy falls way behind in and yes I'm comparing it to iPhone style and windows mobile which both offer a fuller richer notification system when the phones idle at you side.

I'm trying to figure out how to use the phone shortcut on the lock screen without having to need a password or fingerprint. Makes no sense because the camera on the right does not require a password to use from the lock screen but the dialer shortcut does. If anybody knows how to remove the password security from the dialer on the lock screen please let me know.

One of the major reason for having a lock screen is such that if you loose your phone and someone finds it they cannot use it to make any phone calls (esp. long distance) without a password. Now, you want to be able to remove that feature? Who cares if someone finds your phone and take pictures with it.
