@@salmaismail2190 but the phone, after few months it starts lagging, at least the exynos, got my s8+ and it started lagging 2 months after, got my note 9 for almost 2 weeks and it's performance is great until now, still has its hiccups and one ui is a bit laggy sometimes but i got my phone for the screen and the s pen so no problem for me.

Also the performance drop on my note 9 after 2 months is small, it's ok but the s8 was getting annoying for me, or i just wasn't lucky with my phone.

I had S8 and Im using S10 now for almost 2 years, and I must say that S8 have the best looking from all the smartphones. Both s10 and s8 looks simmilar, but S8 is pure beauty, it would never get old.

I have an S8 and it's still top of the line. Looks great, has a bright and sharp display, is thin, very fast, and the curved edges make it look futuristic. The battery still lasts all day. Honestly if you're considering the S10 but are on a budget, I'd seriously consider an S8

Jacques Nomdefamille yeah but you technically downgraded in terms of screen resolution ( s10e can only do 1080p). I have an iPhone 6s and I want to upgrade to Samsung Galaxy s10e sometime .. but I want to know , is it’s camera like the S9 or the s10 ? Because I’m aware even the S9 has a better camera than my 6s but I feel like it’s way too washed out . Is that just a tad better with s10? Thank you

I upgraded from my s8 to an s10+ and I love it. I've waited for the s10 seeing that the s9 was pretty much the same phone as the s8. This s10+ is definitely worth the money... great phone, great camera, and great overall features. I still have my s8 for a back up, but I'm happy with the upgrade. Plus I preordered the s10+ and received a free pair of the Galaxy Buds.

With android pie, the S8 improves alot. I have experienced better battery life, better camera performance especially in ois, Dolby atmos in headphones and bluetooth speakers and increase in overall performance. It also runs more smoother and software feels more stable. A tru and great upgrade in software. Well done for video.

The battery is just ok as there has never been a battery change in five years so the brand new battery would be the whole day running. I use high performances and the battery takes like 5.5 hours from 100 to 0 at gaming when it is still old, but if it would be not that old, it would last longer than the 2020 iPad pros in gaming so the battery life is 💪

@@LuckyTheory Pretty much. the plus has 6 gigs of ram which is the only interesting thin about it. I don't like taking pictures very much so the double lens camera isn't something I am very interested about. Except the fact that it looks cool on the back so that's pretty much it lol. Comapring the S10 to other designs I actually prefer the Iphone rather than the samsung as I always did. The S10 design just look autistic comparing to other smartphones. I just can't tell the difference between the S and a Note now. And honestly I think the next upgrade will be the next iphone and this comes frome a samsung fan.

I've used S8, S9+ and now using S10e...I dropped my S8 two weeks into owning it and broke the back and front glasses. But I still think the feel of S8 still trumps all the phones I've used.

One huge omission on the s10 is the pressure sensitive home button on the s8 and s9. It might sound like a small thing, but it's a feature that's invaluable and used dozens of times a day. One reason that won't go back to an iPhone is the lack of haptic feedback on the keyboard. Apple lauds it's haptic engine, yet makes it unavailable on their keyboard. I have the s8 Plus and use SwiftKey. Haptic feedback makes typing incredible...like typing on a real keyboard.

@@Altanox To each their own. For me, I love the reinforcement of haptic feedback when typing. When I had my Samsung Galaxy s8 Plus, the haptic feedback was decent. The haptic feedback on my LG G8 is in an entirely different league. Paired with SwiftKey, I can type 90+ WPM.

I am just out of contract, and bought a p30 pro on black friday, as I was tempted by an amazing deal, and a bright new shiny . All weekend I kept looking at my abandoned s8 , and thinking why???? I use my phone for basics ( still don't know half of what the s8 does) , I enjoy taking pics. However I had a word with myself and have returned my upgrade today. I've had my s10 for 2 days now and they're almost the same. Marginal difference in display, camera is noticeably better, fingerprint scanner is better than s8 but that's all. The RAM is attractive but 4GB is enough if you're not a heavy power user that multitasks all day every day, if you still have over 1GB left on your RAM then it'll still run fast and smooth. The one UI update on the S8 gave it a whole new more modern feel. The S8 is slightly thinner so personally I find it nicer to hold. I'm leaningbmkre towards cancelling my contract during my cooling period and keeping the S8 going. It may be old but it's still gold.

Still with my s8 with one UI and this thing is a beast! Just go into developer options and put lower animation, some changes for battery life (search reddit), get gcam for a better portrait pics and it's still a flagship. I recommend changing the battery (costed me around 30 eu)

I have both and i love them but what i like more of the s8 plus is the curve design. And what i like most of the s10 plus is the cameras and the display for the finger sprint. Both are beautiful. I would love to buy the s9 plus but the s10 came so i decided to get it 😂

I think I can say that s8 was my most favourite phone in years. I had s8 for year then I switched to iphone 8. Iphone was faulty out of the box so I went for mate 20 pro after 2 months I got enough of having brick in my pocket so I switched to iphone X. After couple of months, iOS started getting me angry. I have an S8 and absolutely love it. But my battery life is getting worse as i used my phone quite frequently and my back camera sometimes doesn't work as it goes all fuzzy. This is a problem for me as i use the camera frequently. Thats whats making me think about upgrading. The camera on the S10 looks amazing with all the modes. I just don't know if i like the design of the s10 compared to the s8.

My girlfriend has the S8 and we're probably upgrading to the S11 whenever that comes out. The primary reasons for upgrading is because her S8 isn't getting Android 10 and her battery life is terrible now. We have to resist all the great deals for the S10 and S10+ right now because the S11 is rumored to be released in January. We can wait an extra month if the Galaxy S series is going to be released 2 months earlier than normal.

That's crazy the s8 still hasn't recieved 9.0 my wife got one ui on her sprint s8 2weeks ago. Mu note 9 had 9.0 ams oneui back in JJanuary

Broke my S8 after two years so decided to buy an S10 and I must say there really isn't all that much different. The biggest thing I miss is the curvy and sleeky look of the S8

I got S8 active. SD835 with 4000mAh is just perfect combo. More than 10 hours SoT with wifi and more than 8 hours with 4G/LTE all day.

i just got my S8 Glass Replaced The Gorilla Glass, For Screen its 12K INR + GST leads to 18k For new Screen Replacement. I would say if it is fulfilling your needs then just get it repaired you won't need to spend thrice the price of Screen Replacement to Buy S10.

No capacitive home button Lock button is way too high Back looks uglier with the 3 side by side cameras I'm actually the only person who liked the S8+'s fingerprint scanner placement, perfect for my hand size and the way I hold the phone The notification bar looks super squished with the cutout The S10+ is a BEAST but I really love my S8+ and am definitely not switching. Besides I don't have the money, anyway.

I have a gs8 and I am upgrading to the gs10 soon... my wife and I have 4 wonderful children and we take lots of pictures and videos so the camera upgrades alone are enough for us...

I got the s8 a lot cheaper than it should have been in boxing day sales. And I'm coming from an old Huawei lol. I had a summer job and just had enough to buy it with like, 6 hours left of the sale
