One more thing worth mentioning (and sorry if you did but i missed it) is Ram consumption. In clip studio paint, once you are several layers deep, you can easily fill all the memory. Now, only the 1TB ipad pro comes with 16Gb of RAM! The 256gb and 512gb models have 8Gb of RAM!!! This is 100% worth considering if you are spending this much money on these tablets and intend on doing proper design work!

@LHMX_4433_goofy the ipad isn't water resistant, no 45w charging, stage manager doesn't even compare to dex, and ios 16 floating apps aren't as robust as Samsung's same goes for multi tasking . But the iPad does have better apps and more raw power . I have nothing against Apple, but it's too restrictive on features and home screen customization to set it up how you'd like it to be, which is why I never buy apple products.

First off, thank you for your info about the sale Samsung has going on. I was able to trade in my Galaxy S8+ for $700. So, i got a new Ultra plus the earbuds 2 pro for $333. I love the new ultra and this is coming from an Apple Fan. I ended up cancelling my order for the new iPad Pro that was going to cost me approximately $2600!!

Have you tried any of the accessibility features on the Samsung S tab ultra like voiceover or any kind of screen enlargement features? This is where Apple excels is there accessibility for people who are blind in visually impaired. I am definitely upgrading my iPad because I had the same iPad since 2019 and it is time to upgrade. Now that the iPad Air has one terabyte of storage it has enough space for my iTunes collection.

Seems waaaay too early to already drop another $2k. Get some cloud storage for your .mp3s , really gonna sownd $2k for more music space. The androids have micro sd, that excuse is moot with those. Get an older tablet just for music, or even an old school sd card mp3 player. But if you make to s of $, ignore more. I like to make excuses to buy gadgets. The S9 Ultra is a real laptop-replacement. Pairing Dex, Keyboard with trackpad and the 16:10 aspect ratio, I managed to replace my Asus Zenbook 14 and I am much more satisfied with everything, especially battery life.

I've had the Ipad pro 13 inch (2019) for a while now and been using it (90%) for media consumption. I think I will either get the S9 Ultra or wait for the S10 Ultra and keep it for the next 5 years. @7:05 This is one of biggest issues I noticed with my Samsung Tab OLED along with bluish whites. You can clearly see throughout video how iPad Pro whites actually look white like LCD screen most likely due to Tandem OLED display tech. Also, should've tested a minimum brightness since Samsung has color issues at low brightness which iPad shouldn't with new tech not to mention Apple devices known to follow 2.2 gamma curve very well so no crushed blacks like Samsung tablet. Only advantage Samsung tablet display has IMO is aspect ratio. Glad they kept the SD slot on the Samsung tablet and still include pen only wins for Samsung against new M4 iPad. Finally, @16:32 don't know if it's just YT app on Samsung but hate how it adds gray border instead of black like on iPad to make it blend into background.

The thing I can not handle with the Samsung is that they somehow managed to make what is supposed to be inky black look very grey if you have any light in your room. It is seen at 5:26 on the borders at the top and bottom of the video. Especially in the bottom left corner. I see it very clearly everywhere else on the screen too but it looks much better in a completely dark room. The ipad with mini led I used to own looked like it had better blacks in many areas compared to the S7+ with amoled display I upgraded from simply because the panel did look black instead of grey. That 16:10 aspect ratio Samsung went for is really superior though and I really want more manufacturers to move over to that aspect ratio aswell.

Totally off the subject, but on my s23 ultra, unlocked Verizon, just picked up latest security update. For some odd reason, after restart, couldn't use any buttons, etc. Rebooting got me back on track.

Honestly if you really need a tablet for school, work, etc……most people would choose the IPad as likely the people around them in the same environment are also likely using Apple products for their workflow. But If you are getting a tablet for like personal use or convenience, I personally believe whichever is fine as long as you are comfortable with and it suits the phone you are going with! :)

I will use it for my art business. My main device is ipad for illustration but I like samsung too for the large screen.

I mainly use my iPad Pro for illustration (I plan to start an art business soon), planning, social media and my Galaxy Tab Ultra for entertainment, homework, multitasking, movies, browsing , social networks, games. Apple offers apps that Samsung doesn't have. Professional apps, like Photoshop full version, Adobe apps, procreate, goodnotes, etc. Samsung offers apps that Apple doesn't have. I think both will fill the void of the other ecosystem. If you combine the two ecosystems, it's called "Appsung" and Appsung would have been perfect for people.

I don't understand the notch. Why? I have no interest in upgrading my S7+ because of this one thing. As of now, that means more to me than the lack of Android 14 and one UI 6. I may just go back to laptop and not have a tablet. There should be plenty of bezel. A tablet needs enough bezel just to be able to hold it.

If you want to watch content more, like movies, play some games NOT HEAVYDUTY go for samsung If you want more productivity there is no question about it go for ipad it will last you longer😊

I'm tempted to say that people who still buy iPads are hypnotized. Are you aware that Samsung also gives away free keyboard cases in addition to the free stylus when you pre-order? Seriously, there's nothing too exciting about the new iPad pro.

Nah, iPads just last longer and feel more polished especially when it comes to apps and stuff, i did buy a tab s8 ultra but eventually returned it even though it had a better screen and imo better features. It just didn’t feel polished enough and it would heat up even on the home screen. I’m sure the tab s9 ultra is better but for me when it comes to tablets iPads are better.

Tbh im waiting for the new samsung tablet it'll overtake apple even more, should release this year to compete and ill probably get even though i own macbook m3 pro and iphone 15 pro, unless the i dont like it in person and ill test how they work together (ipad probably better)

I'm an android user but the reason why I like the ipad is because of the apps. We don't have apps like final cut, logic pro, pro create /dreams, dronedeploy and many others on the android side. (I'm talking about the apps not the O.S.)
