Galaxy Warriors & Galaxy Fighters KOs

The Baltard guy is an enigma to me. I've seen a version in a wrestling line with full range of motion, sporting blue hair and a beard too. I've also seen it on a Muscle Warriors body (the ones without leg articulation but otherwise full motion range, not the rubbery ones with no articulation) sporting a light purple body but with a flesh-colored head, and also as a Wrestling Champs figure called Mr. Unknown where his head was rather unconvincingly painted like a wrestling mask. But I have no idea which cheapo company put it out there first....

Esperemos que algún día Mattel, Super 7, Funko u otra compañía se dignen en sacar esta bella colección de los Galaxy Warriors al mercado del mundial, sería fabuloso y hacerle honor a unas figuras que en sus tiempos fueron tratados como los falsos MOTU, pero que en realidad representaban más ese barbarismo que los verdaderos MOTU. Mattel en sus inicios sacó excelentes figuras que representaban el barbarismo y la fantasía, lo que conocemos como la espada y brujería o la hacha y hechicería, pero con el paso de tiempo fue sacando figuras que se alejaban de esta realidad, figuras sin sentido, en cambio las líneas o copias siguientes a los Galaxy Warriors mantuvieron ese barbarismo y fantasía durante toda la década de los 80’s. Yo espero que una compañía fuerte en juguetes llegue hacerle el honor a estas figuras. Saludos y excelente video.

My favorite is the dragon character (dragoon) Or more specifically the knock off version that had the Chinese dragon head verison. I had one when I was 5 (it was my dad's, he gave it to me with his other he man toys.) I sold it on eBay and now I want one again.

Hahahaha....man those things are hideous and the head Sculps...awful...wow..I check this other channel...ashens..he does reviews of knock off figures ...pretty hilarious too...anyway another great review my friend.. Now I know what to lookout for..cheers

My favorite toy as a kid was one of these knock offs. I named him Dragon Man he was the iguana figure, on mine had all green skin that matched and looked good. I still have it.

It could be argued galaxy warriors didn't rip off he man, especially since several elements and characters are taken straight from the work of Frank Frazetta

these are actually bootlegs of the GW and GF lines. so they're bootlegs of MOTU KOs, not KOs themselves. (bootleg meaning essentially copies; no real effort to distinguish character design, names, accessories, etc. KOs meaning something that's technically original, not a copy, but clearly ripping off the original IP.)
