A lot of the Ultra features are also available for the Watch 7. I just got my Watch 7 and am still learning all the features on it. I take medications and I was able to figure out on my own how to enter the names of each one and set a time to take them each day. This was a very informative video. Several other video demonstrations I have watched either go way too fast or are hard to understand (heavy accents). Great video - really helped me to make a decision but I have 2 questions: 1. Does Samsung Wallet work when NOT used with a Samsung Phone? 2. Does cellular connection work when NOT used with a Samsung Phone?

What I found out is that I had to add my CC on the wallet on my phone first and then it gave me the option to also add it to my watch. I don't know if I can use the wallet on the watch if I leave my phone at home. I haven't tested that yet.

Thanks for the great video. Makes my new Watch Ultra even more user friendly! To me the best feature is displaying my blood glucose level (measured by my freestyle libre) in a complication on the watch, this is a life changer for me as diabetic. Also love the look of this watch, its a real statement peace. Google assistant, google wallet and spotify music control all on your wrist is just amazing. Super useful even though I don't really use the main features of the watch in terms of work out tracking.

Hi there, awesome videos you make❤️ I just Got the Watch and have a question I cant figure out myself. I go poolswimming every day doing laps, and if I activate the waterlock before going in the water the hole Watch gets locked and I cant activate the swimsession. If I activate the swimsession the Watch also get locked and starts up before Im actually get to my the Lane making the lanetime incorrect. What to do? Is the Watch waterproof for swimming if the waterlock is not set? Confusing I know🤪🤪🤣

I don't have the Ultra, but I assume that most if not all things works on my new(so far unopened box) Galaxy Watch 7 as well as on my old Galaxy Watch 4 Classic, since I recognize most things so far, at 18 minutes in the video.

I have the ultra and yes, it's like 95% the same as any other galaxy watch. I also have the watch 4 and they are pretty much identical in software.

That usually appears by itself after a few charge cycles with the watch as it learns your usage patterns. For example, someone who does a GPS tracked workout every day will have a lower estimated battery life than someone who never tracks exercises.

Open the Samsung health app on your phone > tap either a walking, running, hiking, or cycling workout > tap the three dots in the upper right corner > tap "Routes" > tap the "+" > tap "Import from My Files" if you already have one downloaded or tap "Search for a route" to find recommended routes near you. You can also create routes from previous workouts by going to the workout results screen for that workout, tapping "More options, then tapping "Save route".

the 5 seconds for the SOS and then another 8 seconds for the sound to start is ridiculous! you're in an emergency and you think the 5 seconds is enough... and then they add another 8 seconds... i think this timing is way too long in emergency situations. the 5 seconds should be long enough for a mistake press. 13 seconds for a siren is way too long IMO.

@Fredoindallas not necessarily. I am a Samsung knight through and through... I'm being a buyer of Samsung products and also being a owner of the Samsung Galaxy watch 6 classic... I happened to watch videos before I purchase them I happen to look into products... I like to see how things are advancing or where they're falling.. I was looking forward to the next iteration until this thing showed up on the market... I can only hope that next year's rendition is reverted back to a more Samsung-esque look... it's bad enough that every year the watches that used to look like actual timepieces with smart features second and health nonsense as a third have now become less and less of a smartwatch and more and more of a fitness band with smart features and a fancy clock. Samsung used to innovate...lately, not so much. We I like what we like and we don't we don't this particular style is just not for me from the way that it is shaped to the way that the bands connect to that ridiculous orange crown...it just isn't my style.. it looks like something you could pick up on Teemu or the bargain section of a Walmart somewhere is it seriously looks like a cheap "fancy" imitation of an apple watch.... oh that's right that's because the person who designed this watch and their earbuds was also somebody that was once employed for apple and helped to design their stuff so basically the guy literally ripped off of his previous company changed it a little bit and let Samsung run with it and if you heard even the head honcho of Samsung had heard about this and was not very pleased and promised everybody that next year this kind of nonsense would not go on..( don't believe me look it up not really nice quiet guy that never really speaks and is known for his solid demeanor actually got pissed about this watch and the earbuds that just came out) But as I said we like what we like we don't we don't and this just ain't my cup of tea
