I had the Galaxy 6 classic 47mm......returned it for the 42mm, then I saw OnePlus 2, and I knew it was going to fit way better than the 47mm Classic.......well, I ditched the Classic 6 42mm (disconnected from the S24 and now fully power drained) and bought one OnePlus 2.......but two weeks later I bought another OnePlus 2, can't be any happier, not to mention it cost a lot less. I only use google pay, time, calendar, notifications, weather, AND that's all I need, so for the OnePlus 2 watch, and the amazing way it fits my small wrist, it's perfect......PERFECT.

Note: I own a Galaxy watch 6 classic and it does support nap detection. To make the watch faster, lower the animation speed to 0.5x from developer settings, runs way faster.

You are one of the first reviewers to touch on an area I am concerned with but is rarely commented on in reviews. I've owned the Galaxy 6 classic and currently have regular Galaxy 6. I've had pixel watch 1&2, as well as apple watch 9. Other than Pixel, the Apple watch has always been so much more responsive. I love the look and feel of Samsung watches, but the sluggishness has always been a part of them. I ordered a OnePlus Watch 2 ($250 at Amazon) mainly because of your focus on responsiveness. Considered the Pixel Watch 3 (big one) but it's currently too expensive.

I have bought watches, got my One Plus 2 a week ago, and prefer the One Plus. They just need to add a Treadmill workout and EKG and the phone would be complete. I would recommend buying the One Plus

Yes, I agree with you about Samsung nit of brightness vs Oneplus battery. Samsung prioritized numbers and sales, Oneplus prioritized user experience in a more balanced way

One of the main downsides though is I get discounts on insurance for steps and measuring my activity through a smartwatch however they only recognize Samsung and Apple. So unless I sync my OnePlus data every single day with my Samsung health then I do not get those discounts. And it can add up to something like 60 or Euro a month

I've been using Samsung watches daily for 3 years now. The step counting has never been accurate since the Samsung Watch 2. The algorithm assumes regular hand movements when walking, which means it counts fewer steps when I walk my dog and too many when I exercise. However, the calorie burning algorithm, which doesn’t rely on step counts but uses heart rate, temperature, assuming regular breath output. The accuracy is very good.

Turn off animation in developer tools in both to see how fast they are. Also wireless charging is limited to less than 15 Watts whereas wired charging isn't.

I like the OnePlus watch 2, mad that it doesn't have any use for the rotating crown, big miss by them. For now, enjoying my OnePlus 12 and OnePlus watch 2 but only two weeks in. My S23 Ultra and Galaxy watch 6 classic are shelved for now, outside of content consumption.

I have the lte version of the galaxy watch 6 47mm.it does everything I need it too.but the battery life sucks.you are right that the oneplus watch 2 is better. I heard the watch 2 is getting 2 years of support and will be getting wear os 5 this year.i heard wear os 5 will bring better battery optimization and more Features.

@@Tha-King-Arthur have you ever owned the original Galaxy Watch? I think you are just talking about of your you know what. Their original watch runs Tizen OS which is FAR more energy efficient than Wear OS. And yes, if @ronniemack676 is running it without the AOD it is absolutely possible to get 4+ days from that watch. Source: I owned the original Galaxy Watch as well and loved it. I personally wish that Tizen OS was still around. Great operating system for watches and far more efficient.

Have the watch 6 classic and I can't think of anything I dislike about it. Good looking, good battery life and great health tracker. Get the velcro watch band. It is so comfortable.

Your information is wrong! I had the normal 6 and two times the 6 classic and on both devices the GPS, blood pressure, Sleep measure, and steps were inaccurate, and the battery is empty around 36 hours with full brightness, AOD, and health tracking on. For 400-450 euro u can get much better watches then this crap..

Oh hey, maybe I'm being stupid here but I bet your Galaxy watches are over counting your steps because you have the app set up to count steps alongside your watch and it tries to even them out combining data from both points. It always freaking screws that up. You can remove the ability for Samsung health to track physical activity in permissions and that will fix it right up.

Should review the Pixel Watch 2. My 6 classic does get my naps automatically you could try going to the settings and put on all the advanced sleep metrics. The six classic also has the body fat measurement which is game-changing.

I will definitely get OP3 if they will fix not working crown and if they will introduce some form of payment method that works in Europe on that watch. Garmin Pay is great.

1000 nits is by far plenty of brightness. Easily able to see any device with 1000 nits in sunlight without losing much quality at all. Why more than that would be needed is beyond me. Just my opinion. Just wanna add, when you were showing how the ui's worked on each watch, the OnePlus was butter smooth and the Galaxy looked like garbage. So laggy. Just goes to show....

i have both watches. Honestly, there's little between them, each has positive and minus aspects. BUT, if Samsung enabled the blood pressure reading feature to work on other phones then the Samsung would be the clear winner for me. They shot themselves in the foot by allowing it to only work with Samsung phones, and that's a deal breaker for me.

Ive got the Xiaomi Redmi watch 4. A cheap chinese watch, but batterylife is about 25 days. Someone could learn from that!!! Unfortunately, I found and bought it in China. (500 Yuan), but later I found out, it only works with chinese phones. I've got a Oneplus 11, thats chinese, but NO, only pure Chinese phones. Not internatianal models. And when setting it up, they made an error. It's in Chines, not english. And it can't be changed, they say. So I now have a lovely watch with fantastic battery time, can change the watch faces in the phone (no need for opening the app). Even I dont understand what it writes to me, I still like it. Design is good, the strap and the way it locks, is good. Mainly because I was tired of having to charge almost every day, I love this. Fortunately, I can read steps and what else, because even the chinese use the same numbers as me. Just don't understand the text. I hope they will eventually bring an upgrade so I can actually make it fit my language and phone.

I suggest if you watch real reviewers here in youtube, theres a lot. before making an actual comparison review. Obviously you know nothing about the galaxy compared to oneplus. My galaxy has nap detection, read steps accurately, battery extendeds upto two days. The interface is more well thought compared to oneplus which is comparable to cheap Chinese smartwatches tbh
