GALAXY Z FOLD 5: 137 DAYS LATER. Is Samsung Even Trying????

My fold 4 did the hinge thing as well. Happy with the 5 other than it's the same device all over again. Looking at the 6, it's looking like they not gonna change much again. Other than the squared off corners, there's no change. They say the cover display will be bigger, however, it's not gonna be noticable at all I don't think. I'm really thinking about just going with another company.

It seems like much more of an issue than I thought. That's the same thing I'm seeing also about the Fold 6. What's worse ( and I hope this is not true at all) is that there are also rumors of them making a Fold 6 Ultra which is where those bigger displays and higher specifications may be left to. If I didn't like the software as much I'd probably do the same thing and switch over to another manufacturer. I'm secretly (not secretly) hoping that another manufacturer does start taking massive sales away from the Fold Series, so Samsung actually has to do something with it instead of giving us the same phone every year.

It's definitely a good phone but not for everybody. It just feels like Samsung is starting to really stagnate when it comes to innovation, and they didn't used to be like that.

The fold is such a feature rich phone. I have the 512gb fold 3 and did want to upgrade to the 5 but I'm still learning about the 3 and enjoying using that its the only phone ive liked as much as the note. So I'm definitely keeping it for awhile while prices lower.

Thanks for sharing. Keeping the Fold 3 is surely a good choice. You aren't missing out on much by not upgrading, aside from the cameras, if anything.

As much as i love the fold phones i think im done using them, i love my fold 5 but i think im just gonna switch to the s24 ultra instead cause i always feel like I'll get more for that phone for my money

I don't blame you. I gave them a pass for 2 years right after the Fold 3, and they haven't done anything new.

I always say in order for Samsung and Apple to make new phones every year, they have to give us minor upgrages little by little so they can make their prophets.
