Can Amazon prime be installed?? And watched .. without any copyright issues?

yes since it runs on Android you can install the Amazon Prime Video app and watch videos directly from the projector without having to use a device like a roku or firestick plugged into the HDMI port, so yes definitely.

How does this compare to the othwr xgody one you reviewed? Gimbal5? I cant decide. It will just be for use in my room for netflix/youtube. I also have a samsung device

The gimble 5 is a little higher base resolution. Both are great for a bedroom setup though.
