Why does the blue charging lights only work when plugged into the mains to be charged? In direct bright sunlight it only ever shows the green light?!

Great video. Big Thanks! My charger was made by Hinne but has no directions. Could you post a picture (from the user guide in your video) that shows where the different buttons are?

Thanks unfortunately I gifted this to a family member a long time ago so I don't have the instructions anymore.

PSA - DO NOT leave the battery in your car. The heat from inside the vehicle on a warm day can exceed the recommended temperature usage.

Yup, that's pretty much common sense.

How long would you say it would take to fully recharge itself in sunlight?
@GalaxyTechReview7 жыл бұрын
+kaliqwertyo I never put that to the test but they say don't use it as your primary source because the charging is very slow via sunlight alone

charges at a maximum of 1.5w an hour peak. In full sunlight a realistic charge of 1w (300ma), so full charge in 33.3 hours of full direct sunlight. Realistic average day is 8 hours due to cloud coverage/angle change etc, so you would need nearly 4.5 days. The solar charging on all these small solar cell devices is more of a feature a gimmick. Only power banks with 2 or more folding panels are worth considering if you want small portable solar charging. Your much better off with a 20w panel from Ebay for about £25 that also has a 5v 2.1a usb charging output and using it to charge a normal 10,000mah power bank in about 6 hours...

@@Ra-zor thats why solar panels on these types of devices have to be big to fit the whole back of the product, small but efficient

How many hours of sun charge will give u 50% charge... u spoke a lot but details were few

Solar is very low powered, meant to be used to top off in emergencies only. I didnt do any direct tests with full charging via solar but it would take a few days of good sunlight.

Yes I tested it. Works great.
@jeffreymelton22006 ай бұрын
is it really 10000 mah or did you not test to see if they are lying?
@peppermeat80595 ай бұрын
they usually lie, the weight of the device mostly comes from the batteries too, you have to test the mAh

Can this Solar Panel Bank charge your cell phone, if you NEED to use your cell phone to call 911 while out hiking?
@GalaxyTechReview5 жыл бұрын
The solar charge function is slow and only recommended to use to top off the actual battery itself while not in use.
