For @ofdurinsfolk who gave Scream a chance and fell in love with them as much as I did. Thanks for putting up with me while I died over their stuff in 6 while trying not to spoil you. (Thank goodness you've seen 6 now!) Here's to more ships we find and fall for together - I have a feeling they won't be the last!
I went into Scream VI having coped with Dewey's death and then they went and made me all emotional again. Which don't get me wrong, I LOVED that they still mentioned him and showed that Gale has been struggling. They were together for two decades and survived 4 killing sprees together -- it'd be weird if they didn't. It just brings back all my feelings of killing him off being the biggest misstep (one of the only) of the franchise for me.
Regardless, the conversation that Gale has with Sam about blood family vs. found family has me REALLY wishing for Gale to become a maternal figure for the Carpenter sisters since their mom practically disowned them. Gale very clearly cares about them and didn't trust Kirby to keep them safe, even after being shut out of the plan. Not to mention Dewey literally DIED saving them. I think it'd be poetic in a very profound way this franchise hasn't explored yet. Gale and Dewey were SUPPOSED to be parents in an early draft for Scream 4 and this could be a very organic way for that to happen while giving all three characters connections they're in need of. I don't know, just something that hit me while watching it and it won't leave me alone.
Anyways, I hope you all enjoy this! It felt wrong editing Chara or SamDanny without editing THE Scream couple first. What should my next one be? I'm torn between a Gewey/Chara Parallels video, a Chara video and one about The Original Trio and The Core Four so...let me know which one you'd prefer?

i've watched all the scream movies these days and this couple was the best dewey's death was so heartbreaking he became my favourite character of the franchise him and Gale where great together she really loved him and i felt so bad for her dewey deserved to live 😔💔

I refuse to acknowledge Scream 5 and 6 as canon to be honest, Dewey getting klled feels like a huge middle finger to everyone that loved the franchise. I think Dewey's death ironically murdered Scream for me
