Your channel is entertaining and informative to watch; well done! I live on the Sea of Cortez, Baja Sur, AND I do like to jig and it is a productive way to fish. I do this from a kayak and my 21’6” Sea Pro fishing boat. I am working on better targeting wahoo here on the East Cape. Fun to catch and great to eat. God bless.

Those jigs work great for halibut too, but you have to keep it on the bottom. Speed is key to get the jig to swim properly. I always recommend to drop it 15 feet or so and take a few practice swings to see what the different motions are doing for you.
