Regardless of the motive or reason for the sacking of the defense chief, the prime minister has the prerogative to keep or dismiss anyone in the cabinet. Zelensky of Ukraine did the same when he sacked his defense chief.

As a defence minister appointed by Pres. Netanyahu, Gallant should have discussed his opinions and stand PRIVATELY with Netanyahu, ( not with the Biden adm nor publicly), and. after private discussion with his superior, Netanyahu, if Gallant felt so strongly about his stand or principles, such that it is impossible for him to function as defence minister under Netanyahu, he could have resigned, - but for the sake of Israel's multifront war, Gallant should have obeyed Netanyahu's leadership decisions for the sake of unity against Israel's enemies in the midst of this war.

The prime minster should have an amicable and cooperative relationship with his cabinet. If not, he has the right to replace him or her. Israelis, your protest and disunity make your enemy rejoice.

In the end, Netanyahu's decision should prevail, his strong leadership in the middle of this war is crucial. His heart is for Israel and its God, the Creator of Israel and the universe.

Sad; Netanyahu is no less keen to return the hostages, No question that an investigation is required, but after the war. Division is harmful: Security is for 7million Jews not 101 hostages . Betrayal

It is wrong timing to talk of national inquiry while you are at war on three to four fronts. Any distracting element should be set aside until the timing is right to do the needful.

Gallant is mistaken with his hostage deal stance. No deal if it endangers Israel's present&future national security and existential survival from its enemies .

Gallant should be humble enough to accept the decision of PM BIBI for a greater cause .. The protest is not good bcoz it gives the impression that Israelis are not supportive of their govt

That is natural in real setting. Sometimes there are disagreement issues but they are both still on the same side to defend the Israel. That is very natural in reals setting. If your boss is not happy with the result of your performance, then he will hire other professionals to make his goals and missions happen

Servants shouldn't feel superior to their masters, gallant went overhead, and that's why a good leader knows when to leave than face humiliation. Netanyahu is still the leader of israel, and he knows what's best for his people, their God. Praying for Israel 🇮🇱 🙏

Has Gallant forgot that he who has power to hire has power to fire? Why not resign if your opinion or suggestion are not accepted by your employer and you cannot carry out his instructions? The people's you're addressing are not your employer, and can't help you in this matter, thank Bibi for the opportunity to serve and go home, there are others in Israel.

" The King/President/Prime Minister is pleased to appoint ... as the Minister " or "The King/President/Prime Minister is pleased to withdraw the pleasure in appointing... as the Minister...."( This 'doctrine of withdrawal of pleasure is a British usage). It is as simple as that. A Minister is not above PM and cannot have an opinion in conflict with PM's and here Gallant made it public too and hence lost the confidence of the PM.Several months ago, before the start of war with Hezbolla, Gallant had publicly stated the difficulty of taking on Hezbolla which had angered Trump to make derogatory statement as "that fellow "( not remembering)openly informing the enemy even before the start of war that Israel had no weapons. So in my opinion Gallant has signed his own arrest warrant!

The orthodox men need to be recruited for military training => PLEASE DO THIS BY ALL MEANS, LEARN FROM INDIA for NOT doing this! India is suffering today because the Brahmins(the priest class) were omitted from Military engagement and that screwed up a country in zillion ways. They need more political awareness, strength and more integration into the society, We suppor Gallant 100% on behalf of Brahmins from India , We need a Gallant in India, very much need of the hour! ❣
