Mick's face when Ian asked him how Mickey knows he loves him kinda broke me. I feel like his expression (and the "Jesus Christ, Ian") says How can you even ask me this after everything that has happened. Honestly, they could probably make half a season about just them sorting through the shit they have been through in order to properly talk it out on screen. Of course that's not possible so it can be implied at best bust personally I think it's in their faces, also thanks to Cam's and Noel's amazing acting. Especially in this episode.

There are series which go under your skin... Like The Handmaid's Tale or The Walking Dead or Breaking Bad. And I really love this kind of Drama... But Shameless, especially Mickey and Ian... They are like a knife which goes directly in your heart... And that makes me speechless...

Ian didnt want to Mickey to have to deal with what he and his siblings had to deal with, in case he went batshit crazy like Monica. When people are depressed they isolate themselves, sabotage their closest relationship because they dont wanna be a burden. It's guilt of being who you are. And maybe a way of you leaving them before they leave you - and blaming your craziness while doing so.

@@lizlawliet1 They both are so good at acting off one another! You can really feel it in their scenes together. I still can't believe we finally got a wedding episode! I wouldn't have believed it several years ago when Noel had to leave the show. I had lost hope lol I think it's a testament to the two actors really wanting to tell this story. It's kind of incredible ❤

This is perfect. I love how you show the parallels between the seasons in their characters. I loved that the writers for once made Ian the one who was afraid to genuinely commit. I don't think it's about blame, it's about where they are in their relationship. At this point in season 10, Ian's arguments against marriage honestly ring very hollow since Mickey has shown over and over again that he loves Ian no matter what, which he obviously realises quickly enough himself.

The only thing that really bothers me is that there arent enough positive Gallavich fanvideos. And there are tons of negativa ones. Like... People really dont get it, do they? They're crazy about each other and that shit Monica said reflects how SHE views the world. It doesnt say anything about Ian and Mickeys relationship. Ian used her advice to justify his self sabotage. People really dont get how much they are crazy about each other. How much they truly belong together. And its kinds crazy for me with all the characther developmente and the AMAZING chemistry (both in affection and sexually) they have. Like... Guys. Wake up. They're not gonna grow apart. They're Gallavich. They're always fighting and fucking and solving their shit together. Maturing in a relationship is like their thing. They're the only healthy couple this show ever had. And they are also the realest. Stop being such drama queens making sad videos about them. There is SO much to enjoy about them. So.. enjoy.
