I am so jealous guys! That is one awesome video. the only reason I am still living in cairns is because I want to do the Cape properly but I don't even have a 4x4 yet! I took my 99 Fairmont ghia to Weipa via Lakefield 2 years ago and the was pushing it to the limit! Excellent job though guys!

Piss those shit split rims off wich will have 750s or 235 85 on them and get some 16×8 steel rims with 275/70r16 on them. Split rims are good for nothing rims that only fit narrow tyres and need tubes they take twice as long to change then tubless and you cant plug them.
@zanyredonkulous10 жыл бұрын
***** I know my stuff they're shit. They rims have nothing to do with the 4wding its the tyres. You can get tubless rims that will fit any tyre that will go on a split rim. If you puncture one you need to strip it to fix (thats handy when 4wdriving) when they get old the rims rust like shit because they aren't air or water tight, they take twice as long to change then tubless, if you get anything in the tyre even a grain of sand or some tyres have little stickers on the inside from new they rub through the tube, the split ring in no way makes them easier to change it makes them harder when they get old. My family has owned a tyre business for over 20 years. SPLIT RIMS ARE SHIT. The only people who need to learn their stuff are people who use split rims. Anything with a tube is shit so much more to go wrong, and more expensive to fix.

I can,t see why you would bother with towing that road block when a tent would do the job ,they must be sponsored by the manufactures to try and sell more of them and create even more road blocks ,top gear had the right idea burn them LOL
@dwightstewart71819 жыл бұрын
salisburyplain998 A tent is fine, but, for longer periods, nothing beats the comfort, convenience, and security of a trailer. We tow a 16-ft behind our 4x4 Toyota Tacoma. It's too small for the wife, me, and our two large dogs (Great Pyrenees), so we'll be getting a longer trailer this winter.
@123snafu9 жыл бұрын
+salisburyplain998 Mate, these blokes are the manufacturers, they own the company. Google Kedron Caravans, they are in Brisbane Australia.
