My concern is the lack of privacy, limited beach, all inclusive eating the same food every day and being isolated from everything and stuck at the resort. What are your thoughts? We were also looking at Coca Bay, which I have the same concerns of. Is the entire suite air conditioned?

I’ve booked a Gaugin suite for next February. Privacy is important to me. I’m also a bit of a naturist. Are the suites private enough to swim/sunbathe/lounge around in the nude? Thanks.

Not as private as they used to be. The small white fence is only about 2 feet high, with some bushes and flowers. While you are only spied on by birds in the lagoon, there are passers by. Gardeners occasionally work on palms etc and you have the pool filled and checked daily. Having said that, in the 5 visits in the new style of suite design, I have never had an issue with people seeing us in our birthday suits! Well, maybe just the whistling ducks! You can always ask the resort for a more private suite, they will give you a higher number if available. They only go up to #18. Hope you have a great trip and thanks for watching.

@@craigcampbell8963 thanks for the reply. I’ll do that. I’ve lots of time. Also, thanks for tip on high tea. I’d not seen that anywhere. This Canadian at least thinks afternoon tea is one of the most civilized traditions the English have brought the world. I know you’re Scottish…love me some Walkers shortbreads too while cruising the malt whiskey trail.

Is there 24 hour room service? My husband and I always go to bed by 7 or 8pm and are up by 3am. It's very important to us to have late night room service menus

There is no room service at Galley Bay. Breakfast (in the restaurant) starts at 7:00 or 7:30, but you won't have any food from 3:00 until breakfast unless you buy some snacks from the gift shop to keep in your room.
