The beat of their hooves is lovely! I hope next Monday I get to canter. Last Monday I rode this fleabitten gray gelding, Sigge, he's got a very bouncy trot and I was out of practice, plus the stirrups were either too long or too short and there was no inbetween xD There was a summer break like usual, so I hadn't ridden for the whole summer except for like, two-three times. Hope I'll get used to it again soon!

Harlow and Percy racing is so cute lol. You can tell they're both so talented and powerful, but Harlow's stride is massive and Percy is a smol boi 😂Such an amazing video! I'd love to get to do this with my horses!!

This is a beautiful video! Awesome horses! Reminds me of the way less controlled time my little arab mare got up to her fastest speed yet (27mph/43.4kph) during a spook/bolt situation. Didn't realize how fast we had gone til I checked our little riding monitor app 😂 it was exhilarating

Ok but like how do you help your horses to maintain a canter? My mare slips out of hers a lot, and very rarely canters under saddle in our small arena

From my experience, smaller arenas are harder to canter in. It takes a lot of strength from the horses to canter slowly.

Naw, I galloped 6-14 racehorses a day for the last 4 years, this was a walk in the park comparatively even though she’s a powerful mare 🤪😅
