I played a game of duos where my team mate was trying to force me to send him that 5 damage demon, and got so angry when I didn’t he emote spammed me, literally sold his entire board and went afk :(

Gally has always been a 1st or 8th hero he is not a bad hero if cycle comps like murlocs, pirates and elementals are in he is probably the hero with highest chance to get first.

If nobody else is winning as much it's not like they just increase the MMR of everyone else to match. A 1st place is always going to increase your rating even if everyone else is thousands below you.

Has the meta really changed that much? As far as I have been able to tell (at 8k+ MMR games for both solo and duo) nothing much has shifted despite the balance changes. Even tier nerf cuts into that build a bit I gues, the quillboar changes actually just about net neutral (because the t5 gem battlecry is now t4, it usually ends up being goldened where the t5 rarely was)... I am struggling to think of anything where "the meta has changed so much". Hell, even Jeef has barely changed his tierlist as of the 27th, and he's literally the #1 player in both the EU and NA regions. We had like ONE meta shift since duos, and that was the duos exclusive orchestra build which is now dumpstered.

@@kirinashia567 battlecryies got nerfed as the power of rylak got halfved and deathscale became tier 5\, the blue bird who was the main card of beasts is now tier 5, elementals are better with graymane but graymane power litterally got halved, mechs got a huge buff getting scrap scraper being also a battlecry making mechs endgame faster to get, bream got buffed making murlocs more viable but harder to get because primalfin is now a tier 5, record smuggler changed from giving you max 7 gold to now giving you 4, winged chimera got basically a rework. So i think that the meta changed a bit from last patch especially in duos where the higher tier cost makes it harder to get higher tier card and so cards like primalfin, deathscale or iridescent skyblazer got a huge nerf.

@@xNesta12 you listed a bunch of changes but the majority of those weren't significant meta changes imo. Sans orchestra builds, very little shifted the general tiers of where things go. For instance beasts didn't get dumpstered by the 4 drop being nerfed to 5, scrap scraper didn't move the mech build up a tier, smuggler was always good but was never a core card for either tethys or Eliza pirates, etc. We've had balance changes but most of it hasn't significantly shifted the meta.

@@kirinashia567 different opinion i guess, rilak, greymane, scrap scraper and gem smuggler, they felt (to me) really dominant in the last patch but not in this one. so i would call it meta changes

I hate this duo content. Less enjoyable to watch and whoever gets that trade card minion first round wins or gets 2nd
