So now years later, how has that pedal held up? I'm currently building a cajon based drum kit (using bongos as toms, plus a 13" tom in a typical floor tom spot, cajon for a bass drum and throne. Still shy on the pedals. I hear a lot about cables breaking....

Hi!! first of all thank you for the kind words! for this recording i used a 13 inch sabian HHX evolotion HH and a small 12X7 Brady snare drum , the cajon I'm using is LP Americana Cajon, Snare Style. Thanks again!

I know some people have been using the schlagwerk pedal for years. it's impossible to use Meinl pedal for more than five minutes. it has andesign problem
