There were a significant number of Baghdadi Jews living in Nagpada until 1980.....and this Roti was very popular with them. So much popular that for many years the Rotis were flown to Israel for those who have migrated to Israel.

Bachpan ki yaadein hain. 10paise ki mughalai Roti aur rupey 1. 50 paise baara handi .aaj bhi yaad hain. Aur dil kertaa hain yahaan lejaker khaatey hain.
