Gamakatsu G Carp Hooks - Do They Work?

The bait shops, Walmart, and big box sporting good stores in my area do not sell any carp fishing gear at all. The closest thing you will find is Magic Catfish bait that advertises to also catch carp. Finding hooks best suited for carp fishing has been a task, but I have narrowed it down to a size 2 (smallest they offer) H20 express live bait hook. It has a large barb that can rip a carps face, but if you smash the barb down its an excellent hook. I wanted to try a "real" carp hook so I ordered some G carp hooks from ebay. They have a tiny barb and are a very similar thickness and shape to the live bait hook from H20 express. Thanks for watching! #carpfishing #commoncarp #carp
