I loved Goemon's Great Adventure so much that I played it like all day everyday when I was on summer break in like '02. I could have sworn there was a translation of this, because I remember reading it at some point.

Funny thing about the song is when they mention Yugioh. The TCG is put out by Konami and there is actually a set of cards in the game that are modeled after these characters.

The art style reminds me of Okami. Also Final Fantasy Goemon, Pikachu and Yugi were all in there. XD I miss Goemon, I always played as Yae, she was my fave character.

Well, manga and anime was largely inspired by old Western cartoons and comics. And since the media is so much bigger in Japan then anywhere else, there's of course a lot more variety. Also, Ganbare Goemon is a game series, not an anime.

Manga had other inspirations that weren't just "western" something. Tezuka also was inspired by many other things aside from american cartoons

The problem is the Goemon story builds up in the games, but we didn't get the NES games, only 1 SNES game, 1 GB game and 2 N64 games We're missing a lot of valuable information. I had no idea that Impact was self aware. I thought it was just a Goemonesque robot he could summon and control. I also has no idea that Goemon and Ebisumaru had children. It could be translated and put into a bundle, or sold on the Wii VC seperately. Konami has no idea the profits its missing.
