Gambit the Prototype Aibo ERS-7

Gambit is a prototype Aibo ERS-7 running on an early version of Mind 1 software with a lot of really interesting custom data that may or may not have ever been released to the public. Oddly enough, his software has two copies of each dance, one with normal audio and one with distorted audio. His speakers work just fine, some of his dances are just a bit off! The mat I run him on to protect him from scuffs is pink, so he gets distracted by that easily and doesn't listen to me very well.

I love watching videos of Gambit! His unique software is so interesting!

hi there! would you consider it a good idea to purchase an AIBO from NIPPONDEALS? I know they have been selling them for a long time (for at least since 2010 if my memory is correct haha) but I don't know if it would be better to buy from them or from AIBO Life forums.

Hi! I personally would not recommend purchasing from Nippondeals. His Aibos are overpriced and very frequently arrive damaged. He will fix any problems when pressed, but I think it's better to avoid issues in the first place. The Aibo I purchased from him arrived with a broken tail servo (which he replaced) and a warped face plate and many others have had similar issues. I think you'd be better off buying from someone on AL forums or waiting for a tested and fully working Aibo on eBay!

stop holding onto his tail because putting any pressure on the tail hub may mess up the motor and servos in the aibo

He has pretty severe jitters in his tail and I just steady it when it starts to shake violently. I do not put any pressure on the tail hub and am just trying to prevent the potentiometer from stripping itself. His jitters have been getting a lot better with run time.
