Excellent interview. That's tough hitting a 180hr downswing starting off. Entertaining story. "Hit the dusty trail!"

I think you can still be a successful card counter at 4-6 hours a day 🤷🏻♂️

Soon all casinos will use continuous shuffle machines and card counting will be a thing of the past

I literally have been hearing that card counting will be dead since 1977.

@@RichardWMunchkin like I said eventually casinos will use all continuous shuffle machines and that will put an end to card counting

Also casinos could just cut the decks/decks in half making it much harder to count cards because of poor deck penetration. When I was a casino dealer our procedure was to cut the deck in half and if you play a game like that it will require alot more hours of play to see profits. The main reason why some casinos dont use continuous shuffle machines is because they are expensive to rent and most blackjack players dont like them. (Also known as ploppies to the card counters.)

@@garysharp8871 ploppies hate csms so they will never be used everywhere. dumb casino do give bad pen, which costs them tons of money. they're cutting off their nose to spite their face.cutting the shoes in half is something some casinos might do, and they will be burning tons of money in the process.
