I mean Giannis goes into “Im just gonna drive into the whole team mode” and that doesn’t promote good offense for his teammates. Can’t expect them to play well when they just stand still watching Giannis. Game 1 is a great example. He got all of them involved. However, that prob was due to the way the Celtics guarded him that game
@lirpa23002 жыл бұрын
The same can be said for the Celtics. People jumping out the window about Tatum's 42 point performance (which is nice) like this dude didn't just have an 11 point nightmare game 5. Tatum is just as inconsistent as Giannis teammates. Also, Celtics are still relying too much on those threes. Once again, a huge factor in Celtics winning tonight was their threes were going in. Bucks took less and made their three point shots. Both teams don't impress me and whoever wins game 7 will have trouble when they face Miami, who is the best team in the East in my opinion. Miami has a star in Jimmy, a dominant big man in Bam whose been playing well in the playoffs thus far, a solid bench and they play good defense and either team will have match up problems with Miami. Besides, Giannis has been the most consistent and best player this whole series and we can't ignore that his right hand man Middleton hasn't played the entire series as a reason why the Bucks are struggling with Boston. And don't bring up Robert Williams because he at least did play a few games in this series and he's doesn't have the responsibility or the weight to help carry the Celtics as Middleton does. It's a good series but not that monumental or memorable....SHEESH!!! People are prisoners of the moment. If Boston wins game 7, it's not necessarily because Boston is the better team, it's that Coach Mike relies too much on Giannis and doesn't utilize his bigs properly. Lopez and Portis should dominant more in the post. The key to beating Boston is to play big and dominate on the inside, you can't play small ball against Boston. And Boston needs to be careful about all these threes because usually when they shoot well from the 3 one game, the next game, they're awful from the three and they shoot themselves out of the game and end up losing.

I feel bad for Giannis, bro had 44/20/6/2 and the only one of his teammates that came to play was Pat….also Coach Bud needs to wake up, if the drop coverage hasn’t been working several games into a series you need to switch it up and make adjustments idk why he doesn’t do that…and how abt you use Giannis as a screener more often or set picks for him to go against easier match ups so he can get easier buckets instead of making him just plow through the Cs on his own every single time
@lirpa23002 жыл бұрын
Thank you. Also why doesn't he utilize Lopez and Portis more on the post. You have to play big against Boston. Portis, Lopez and Giannis should be dominating on the inside in this series. Coach Bud is making the game harder for Giannis. This doesn't have to be the Giannis show, although he doesn't have Middleton, he does have other players, use them. That's my problem with today's league, they seem to only play small ball and don't utilize their big man or dominant in the post. Most teams have weak interiors because they rely too much on the three ball or play too much iso one on one or force their bigs to play small ball. One thing I love about the playoffs is that IT ALWAYS exposes coaches and their systems. Alot of coaches in these playoffs have failed to make adjustments in their systems or rotations and it cost them the series.

As a Warriors fan I feel that the turnovers have a simple solution and that is to just take your time. In game five and game six the Warriors looked super eager to win the game immediately. At the end of the day it is a 48 minute basketball game and especially with A young defensive minded team (without Ja who can be a defensive liability) not willing to give up, they took advantage and the Warriors kept trying to just force the win because they know they’re the better team. What Really closed out the game was the different play style it was very calm it was just do your thing make those passes and we’ll get opens shot and that’s what they were getting, those easy looks that you normally see from the Warriors. Coupled with that was amazing defense at the end, without the turnovers the Warriors were able to lock in defensively and get some amazing stops also that I really feel like made the grizzlies panic and what gave us the breakaway. Whatever the matchups are next series on both the East and west are going to be insane, I just hope every team is healthy as can be and we get some good basketball games.

Mavs yes, but the Warriors will struggle against the Suns because of that interior. Warriors have a weak interior and Suns can capitalize on that. I don't know how the Warriors are going to deal with Phoenix bigs, especially Ayton. Looney barely gets to start and Draymond will not be able to contain Ayton in the post. If I'm the Suns, the gameplan is to play big and attack the Warriors inside, don't play smallball or try to out three them, it NEVER works. Suns should do the same thing to close out against Dallas. If Dallas wins, Warriors will get to the Finals easily because Coach Kidd doesn't utilize his players properly and relies too much on Luka.

Hey Kenny I see you said can Golden state rebound like this against the Suns/Mavs. The grizzlies is the number 1 rebounding team in the league . Our offense allows for a lot of offensive rebounds .

When Klay drops 30 points. Everyone goes wild. When Jimmy drops 30 for a majority of the playoffs and 2 40+ performances no one cares.

Klay been out close to 3 years dawg, this his first playoffs back..

Well Jimmy need to go win the whole thing then. Miami is still the team the beat in the East in my opinion.
@manuprasad53542 жыл бұрын
it's sad, but in context klay's 30 is more impressive than Jimmy's 30. But Jimmy's playoffs this season have been crazy. Extremely under the radar
@NotGord2 жыл бұрын
@@Admin-ue2wi I know but this also applies to players like James harden. Remember when everyone went crazy over 31 points from him?

They had that one flagrant on Dillon brooms which was fine, food call, but just before that Kevon looney through Steven adams to the ground and it was just a common foul, not to mention, he was banged up and had to miss time in this one and has been one of the most important guys for the grizzlies, that’s a big swing right there that no one is talking about, grizzlies should’ve been up by like 10 at half time
@JimboCruntz2 жыл бұрын
One thing that hasn't been mentioned much, aside from game 1 the bucks only have their wins by the skin of their teeth. This series has been super competitive and the conference finals are going to be amazing who ever gets through! What a season this has been.
