I like that the Lite tackle II uses standard gear track and is the easiest to add a motor to. I love the Moken but, not the proprietary gear track which require adaptors. :(

The proprietary tracks that FeelFree uses can sometimes be a pain. We have actually been swapping the FeelFree tracks out with YakAttack tracks for customers lately.

Light tackle II . I want to upgrade from my light tackle & we already bought an Eddieline from you. Very happy & satisfied with it. See you soon in May to possibly be buying one or two more kayaks. I am very happy with your customer service & answering any questions I have. Spoiler alert, we are interested in the Old Town sportsman's autopilot 120? Thank you, your loyal customer.

I own a Feelfree Moken. It is a great kayak. I’ve fished marshes, lakes and coastal areas with it. Last year I competed in a local charity fun kayak race in it. With all that said I plan on keeping my Moken. But I’m looking for something a little faster for future fun races

is there a difference if you would be only using it in river/lake environment and not really considering marine? Thanks excellent vid

I tend to shoot for the middle with kayaks. I find that range to be a lot more versatile and a great value, but still high quality enough for someone like me who is pretty rough on my stuff

Great choice, around that price range you definitely get good value for what you are spending!

@@Headwatersadventure I’ve been looking hard at Crescent in that range, they seem to really have that category figured out

I'm 5'10 and weigh 210. Would the Caribbean 12 work for me with only a 275 pound weight limit? I believe with the weight of the boat that capacityactually becomes 230 pounds, then add gear etc. Seems like that a very conservative weight capacity for a 12 foot boat?

Im 60 and want a light weight kayak under 50lbs with a super comfortable seat and a great paddle. No fishing.

The Caribbean 12FS is very good. 45 pounds, framed seat, super stable. I have one, and love it. It's a SOT. The Sandpiper 130 also has a framed seat, but is a sit-in, and probably weighs 49 pounds.

My choice will come down to weight, regardless of price. Personally, I'm 125lbs and I cartop a fixed seat 55lb Tarpon 100 presently. Caribbean 12FS: Is the weight 45lbs without the seat? Lite Tackle II: Is the weight 75lbs without the seat? Moken 12.5 V2: You stated the weight 85lbs is without the seat.

Eddyline makes the Caribbean 10. No framed seat. Probably weighs 40 pounds a., I believe, a 200 pound weight capacity.
