This update is incredible. Permanent Overclock for extra books, new Interception is a huge improvement for everybody, and they made getting a 10/x/10 Alice a part of new player progression with the Day by Day continuation. SU overdelivered so much.

For lower level players the highest increase in rewards are for reaching stage level 3 and stage level 6, reaching these milestones should be your target. And as sky mentions in the video, anomaly stage 1 is already better than SI 9, rockwise it's slightly better by 5% with chance for 2 rocks and gear wise it's just better because you can go for what you want (maybe you lack a helmet, or gloves etc) and the percent chance is slightly higher by 2%. So yeah go for anomaly even if you want to quit instantly lol.

They are a whale. I imagine there are others. Sky's spent quite a bit so maybe he did it on his main too I did not watch stream. It's very hard.

For rocks it's obvious because the rock rate is higher on Kraken than in SI, but for the other bosses I'd say the Anamoly is better because the lower bonus reward rate in lower level clears is compensated for by the ability to target farm a specific gear slot and the ability to get rocks and gear at the same time even without Full Burst Day.

The insane thing is that....this is the EASY boss, the other ones you're lucky to do HALF of the damage you do on Kraken. Ultra loses his core, Mirror Container is buggy and becomes immune outside of pierce/skill damage on the last 30seconds, good fucking luck doing damage at that point...Harvester is...weak to water which is just no great until I'm guessing anniversary. Indivilia is RUTHLESS, phase 2 starts by one shotting your unit unless you use Crown's 20stacks, unironically.

@Fearless_Jay The funny part is that Crown is Iron type, which Indivillia's Wind type is strong against. My setup was Crown - 2B - Modernia - D Killer Wife - Rapunzel and was able to survive to the end without casulties, reaching stage 3.

@@gerrion25 I replaced to Crown/D/Black Shadow/Alice/Naga and ended up on 2bil damage, it's not amazing but I'm 99% sure it's pretty much as good as it gets atm. I just stacked crown's stack mechanic to 20 before the phase start and I was just fine. Still that's too much lol

The reward percentages threw me off at first. Without taking the rocks into account, interception EX has an 85% chance for an extra reward when clearing stage 9, but Anomaly only has a 65% chance for gear when clearing stage 9. However, if you math it out, stage 9 of EX only has a ~27.75% to get any T9M gear, but stage 1 of anomaly has a 28.25% chance to give you T9M gear. TL;DR: Even at stage 1, anomaly has a higher chance of T9M gear than phase 9 of EX. However, all stages of Anomaly have a higher chance of giving no gear at all than stage 9 of EX. Plus, you have a higher chance of getting a rock, and that's in addition to gear, not instead of gear.

Guys i just checked even the 7 regular boxes are better even at level 1. 3% chane for t9 gear in anomaly stage 1 (enter and quit fight lol) versus special t9 gear being 2.5% (also the boxes gets a bit higher for the breakpoint stage, 3.5 at stage 3 amd 4.5 at stage 9 though i didnt check 6 so maybe the 4.5 kicks in there) but still POINT being even for gear equipment xp stage 1 anomaly start and quit is better than full clear special RIGHT off the bat

Late so mind was in a haze just checked again and all the odds added together (again JUST equipment boxes for exp fodder) special stage 9 t9 gear was 30% versus anomaly stage 1 being 36% Tl;Dr anomaly better in every way

Today, I unlocked & ran Anomaly Intercept for the first time this weekend for x2 rewards. Out of the 6 dice rolls, I only got 2 shards. I still need manufacture gear, and it seems I would likely have faired a lot better at EX Intercept. I think I would likely have gotten 4-6 items between Manufacture gear & shards. At the point I'm at now I need useful manufacture gear more than shards, so I'm considering I should have done EX mode. selecting the gear slot doesn't mean as much as something like picking a faction.

I've gotten so many rocks the past three days that I've run out of fodder gear for upgrading the T9M gear. EX Interception was tuned for me so that I could easily keep up with upgrading the T9M gear as a got it. Now I have the opposite problem: Too many rocks, not enough upgrade mats. LMAO.

At 266 I was able to get just shy of level 4. I think after the reset I'm going to change Rapunzel for Blanc. It should help my Red Hood pump a fat chunk of extra damage with the Damage Taken increase on the boss.

Is there some kind of mechanic that I'm not aware of in these fights? I have no problems clearing the first 4 stages but then once I hit stage 4 I'll see periods of like 20-30 seconds where all five of my units start hitting for only 1 damage. I had one run against Ultra where I didn't have this problem and hit stage 8 but beyond that it just keeps happening.

I would say at least 1 year. I've been playing for 15 months and I haven't gotten past level 3 with the easiest boss, which is the Kraken, using the same team with all of them at full overload and skills at 10. I don't know what copies and what perfect skills her Scarlet will have to deal 400 million damage in 40 seconds playing on auto... mine with 2 copies, full overload and skills at 10 doesn't deal more than 100 million...

it basically gives the same. its just a different bonus. it's still a guranteed of 7 gear for gear exp. Interception EX Stage 9 is 7 gear and a 85% chance of a bonus equipment being gear or rocks. While Anomaly Interception gives you the same 7 gears on Stage 1 and depends on what boss you're fighting gives you more bonus like Custom Lock and Kranken = More Rocks Mirror Shield = Arm Piece Indivilia = Torso Piece Ultra = Head Piece Harvester = Leg Piece end of the day is still RNG
