It's due to the chicken skin, the oil to fry them and the butter in wing sauce. When I make wings I always remove the skin, simply because I hate chicken skin. Then you can grill them or bake them as she did instead of fry them. I also love tofu "wings" (probably even more than real ones!), or using vegetarian "chicken" or cauliflower. Not even due to dieting but I just enjoy them. Lastly, I always use reduced fat sour cream & light mayo in all my recipes so when making blue cheese it's lower in fat & calories - then have plenty of carrots & celery!

She has a cook book that has the recipes in it and if you notice on shows like ellen and ever morning news shows they speed up the cooking segments because most of the stuff is 1. Self-explanatory and 2. Deemed not important.
