I have a feeling Bandai will eventually release these on SH figuarts form hence they half assed these figures just as a beta test whether there would be a market for Tekken figures

These are made by the american branch of Bandai, who're the ones behind the Dragon Ball Dragon Stars and Anime Heroes lines. They're meant to be affordable massproduced alternatives to imports focused on the general casual consumer market. Tamashii Nations has nothing to do with them.

I wouldn't be bothered with lack of paint if it was only his belt and tapings, but they didn't even paint his iconic tattoo... Also paint on his rubbery pants is cracking with bending knees, I'm actually very disappointed with this line, but I will probably still try to find this Jin, because I need a figure of him with his classic or kinda classic design which doesn't cost like Storm Collectibles. There will also be a SHF Jin figure, but not with the design I want, so ehh, maybe I should just wait more time for classic orange flame pants design figure, from SHF or improved Game Dimensions one.

The price point on these figures is what’s bothering me because I just don’t think they’re worth the price. They look really cheap. I’m not sure how far this line will go but I’m really concerned on how the females are going to look because I would love to have a Nina figure in my collection.

I agree, these figures look horrible! Although Jin in my opinion looks better than Kazuya. I am tempted to get this figure, since I see major improvements from the Kazuya/Heihachi figure. Only thing really bothering me is the horrible face sculpt on this

Some definite improvements in the pinless shoulders/elbows, but then questionable choices such as the rubber pants. I worry about the longevity of those compared with harder plastic
