Ps1 Games are becoming harder to find in the wild, unless you would be there on the day a shipment comes in, you would be out of luck. The fact you managed to find a couple is actually amazing to begin with so congratz on that.

Yeah it sure is hard hey! I did get lucky this last week with 50% off select ticketed items at a Cashies and walked away with some bargains. I posted that over on Instagram @ 1UpEmily

Nice to see there are some places around Sydney where there are games. We now only have one Cash Converters down here and they charge way too much. Other than that there are some charity stores and the Tip shops, so things are pretty thin on the ground.

Awesome! That place after cash converters looked amazing! I agree too, the thrill of the chase makes it worth it! Hope you're well 😊

Yep the only place to find bargains these days is op shops (often in the Video/Music section if they don't know any better) or if you get lucky at a garage sale direct from the original owner. Everyone else is now after "nostalgia tax" in the profit which sucks.
@TeamRetro5 жыл бұрын
Very true my friend very true. Luckily these days I have traded games with friends. I've found that also another cheap way to make use of the thrift finds I have to trade up the value to something i've wanted. Original owner stuff oh my lord it's the jackpot for me when it happens hey :)
@005AGIMA5 жыл бұрын
@@TeamRetro Original owner stuff sure is. I picked up 10 games that I was desperate for (they came as a collection originally) all from an original owner. Granted that was via ebay, so being original owner is even more rare. ebay is great but "too easy" sometimes, and it's also....feels like cheating. And can be full of people flipping for profit (which is fine as it does help us find those ultra rare items in all fairness).

Do you already own a Namco Arcade Stick? $29 is a very decent price as it goes for at least double the price on eBay without the box. And it looked like it was in very good condition. Still one of best fighting sticks available. I even use it for my OG XBox.

@@TeamRetro If my currency converter is right it's insanely high ($239 -> €150 ?), generally a unboxed one would go for € 30-40 . I love your videos by the way, Cool to see like-minded people grinding the charity shops on the other side of the world ;)

Those are good deals for the PSX games it's hard finding them that cheap in Melbourne even the burner games are like $20, hopefully my luck can change. As always love the content and keep doing what you are doing

Yeah I thought so too. I didn't actually have either on them (now checked since home) and pretty chuffed! $2.50 ea is a bargain as like you said they are normally $20+ each in other stores. Thank you for the support and encouragement on my channel. I'll continue to make quality videos 2-3 times per week :)
