Are all of these recaps like this? GOOD story, but spending twenty minutes ridiculing, demeaning, and underestimating the protagonist, and then spending twenty minutes expressing the shock and surprise DURING the fight, and then spending twenty minutes after the fight expressing more shock and surprise from observers we could care less about? It is annoying. The story is good, but there is too much meaningless garbage injected along the way. Instead of drawing us into the story, it seems that expressing the shock and surprise of random side characters is more important. A LITTLE of it is good, but, dang the VAST time spent on it completely annoys me. A two hour story told in eleven hours. The story is good, and has great potential that draws in the listeners, but the excess and unnecessary dialog ruins it. Still giving a like.
