Lots of pro BMX riders have been making the transition to bigger wheels (including myself). Sergio and Ruben Alcantara have been been bmx heroes of mine for a long time, good to see him featured on GMBN

It seems the older I get the more I like the MTB. BMX is just so rough on the body and at a certain point it just hurts! When I was a teenager I could wreck and be back riding in five minutes. nowadays it makes me quit for the rest of the day

Some well-known riders were actually bmxers i knew previously. bmx gives you a lot of raw bicycle-physics knowledge but i'm learning new things now, after 18 years on a bmx bike :p my first day at the bikepark i did a onefoot table, although i didn't try to table. apparently those wheels have more gyro effect than a bmx lol :p
